What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

If he wins a game, 2 seconds? If he wins the superbowl, I think he finishes his contract and we get a compensatory 3rd.

I can't not see the Saints being highly interested, especially after Jimmy basically ended their season. Drew Brees was 27 when they acquired him from the Chargers who decided to go with a high upside draft pick instead. There has to be a part of them that thinks they can make good use of a limited physically but high IQ QB like that.
I say we end up with a 2022 2nd rounder from the Saints, and an additional 3rd or 4th rounder in 2023. Helps make up for the compensation we gave up for Lance.

After yesterday, wouldn't be surprised if a team offered a first.

Test the waters with a first, but I would take a second.

I could actually see the Saints making us an offer for JG. Jimmy would be a perfect fit under Sean Payton, then combine that with their stout defense and the saints would most likely be super bowl contenders once again.

Aren't the Saints in cap purgatory? Don't think they can take on 25 mil.

Jimmy should have trade value.
Some of the QB play in this league is really bad and it's a weak QB draft certainly compared to last year.
Ideally he gets traded to the AFC - someone like Denver stands out or maybe Pittsburgh

They can if they gave the 9ers MARSHON Lattimore straight up.
(I put his name in caps cause I kept forgetting it)

If we can get a really good CB in a trade, I think I would take that.

After last night and if he beats Dallas it seems INSANE to me to trade him. I say KEEP him and Lance as his back up. Lance will have plenty of starts when Jimmy is on IR
"Jimmy Garoppolo is 33-14 as a starter, has started in a Super Bowl, and has battled non-stop injuries for 3 years while we traded up to take a QB in the first round. Not once has this man complained, taken any frustration out on his teammates or coaches, never showed his ass to the media. Kept his nose clean from day one and has remained a true professional while his own fanbase has kicked dirt on his name on a daily basis.
That is a true leader to me, and has earned the right to be QB1 of the San Francisco 49ers. Proving haters wrong on a weekly basis with a smile on his face"

Who knows anymore. After the Titans game it looked like it went to hell, especially with him getting injured again. Then he starts out awful, and ends the game looking like Joe Montana...I guess it's gonna depend on his playoff performance, but I still think it will be a 2nd or 3rd that can turn into a 2nd, matter what happens.

Nah, he's gone. We need that money.
