What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

Well lets see Denver has an injury-prone game manager qb. 29 years old
his stats for the season: 285 for 426 18tds 7 ints, 100 rush yards in 14 games

what does he make in salary ? 4 million dollars

Jimmys salary is 27 million. 30 years old

his stats for the season: 278 for 409 19tds 10 ints 50 rush yards in 14 games

I know it might be difficult, but please look at these numbers and tell me why would Denver trade for Jimmy, and please don't use team stat like Wins

Maybe Jimmy converts 3rd downs better ?

Let see here

21San Francisco38.38%
23Denver37.31%

No, that isn't it either

Maybe Jimmys career numbers are much better ?
Teddy 65.3% 14k yards 71td/43 ints in 73 games
Jimmy 67.6% 11k yards 70td/36 ints in 62 games

insert *they're the same picture* meme

Heres where your wrong. All Jimmy does is win, for example he has tons of highlights in the playoffs where he makes big time throws.

All he does is win "RUNNING COACH SHANAHAN'S OFFENSE."

Lol let's be real,...look @ another team. Any team without an already-strong roster (like ours is) does NOT want to take a test run with Jimmy G.

Edit: I think I missed the sarcasm,...lol

"Jimmy Garoppolo is 33-14 as a starter, has started in a Super Bowl, and has battled non-stop injuries for 3 years while we traded up to take a QB in the first round. Not once has this man complained, taken any frustration out on his teammates or coaches, never showed his ass to the media. Kept his nose clean from day one and has remained a true professional while his own fanbase has kicked dirt on his name on a daily basis.

That is a true leader to me, and has earned the right to be QB1 of the San Francisco 49ers. Proving haters wrong on a weekly basis with a smile on his face"

-Ray Henderson

More reason to trade him when his equity is high and has a friendly cap hit that can be reduced via extension. Broncos, Steelers, and Giants should be major players. Broncos make sense assuming we don't see any action with the elite QBs.
I still think the Steelers are his best option. Tomlin knows how to win on a consistent basis and always has a good team. That fits Jimmy perfectly.

Right now i'd ask for a 1st and settle for a 2.

Other teams that might be interested: Panthers, Broncos, Saints

I think a 2nd conditional 1st. Make it contingent on 15-16 Games Started in 2022... that would be the biggest concern if I were a prospective suitor for Jimmy G, will he stay healthy?

15 games played or a playoff win
I see him ending up in Pittsburgh. Who ever trades for him can restructure his deal and manipulate the cap hit.
***Hey Webzone: REACTIONARY, MUCH?***

Saturday, he wasnt worth that much, today he's worth more, and after the Dallas game, that'll change again.
At least, based on the knee-jerk fans, here.

Outside of a Super Bowl win (which should give John and Kyle pause about a trade), Jimmy's trade value is higher than what people, on average think:
A conditional 2nd or 3rd (which could become a higher pick), plus a 4th or 5th. AT THE MINIMUM.

As per one of my previous posts, the SAM DARNOLD trade (2nd, 4th, 6th), should be the BASELINE for trade talks.

I like that deal. And hopefully it's the games played metric that hits and the Steelers still suck so it's a good pick

They can if they gave the 9ers MARSHON Lattimore straight up.

(I put his name in caps cause I kept forgetting it)

That value is what I have been thinking all season. I do not think it has changed at all this season for GMs. For fans of all teams it has been a wild Rollercoaster.
Jimmy's trade value has ALWAYS been that of a starting NFL QB. More precisely a top 20 at worst case scenario. That alone should warrant a 1st rounder from teams that barely missed the playoffs due to QB play and they only lose a later than 20th pick.

He's not "beating" Dallas though,...much in the same way he didn't beat the Rams. A valiant effort, no doubt. But without alot of other major contributors we don't pull it off.

Barring a complete change in dependability (which certainly wasn't shown in the Rams game), he's not being kept. It'd just be stupid.

How does the salary that a team would have to pay factor in though. That's my biggest concern with his trade value... yes, you could plug him in on any team and get production, but are people going to be willing to trade picks for him with the salary he will get?

I like this post but realize a lot hinges on his most recent action. If he aggravates the injury that could dramatically change the situation. As would him going in and putting 4 scores and a W on Big D. I think this could swing from 1st rounder to 4th rounder pending on the playoff outcome/health.
