What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

I was wondering, what if Rodgers really does want out, or retires.

Love was a complete waste of a first round pick. Anyone that has seen him play, would agree.

GB is obviously insanely good. Have everything a championship team needs. But, if Rodgers leaves, and they are stuck with Love. They go 6-11.

Any thoughts on sending JG there?

Jimmy and a 2nd for Rodgers.

Rodgers comes home for 3 more seasons and then Lance takes over at the young age of 25.

And Rainbows and Unicorns
2ND seems about right judging by his record and stats. Record is good but stats are not elite/spectacular.

His injury history will probably be one of the biggest issues. Any team that's bringing him in will need a competent backup because at some point, he will be out.

That is the dream of every GM/HC in the league. However, there just are not very many of those around. The fact that Jimmy has missed some games in the past will be viewed against his toughness in playing through this thumb injury and other bumps and bruises he has had in the past. A big part of that investigation by interested GMs from other teams will be looking at the inferior quality of the OL in the past few years. This year is the best OL we have had since he has been here and he has been ready to play in all but one game. Those will all be things that will be a part of the evaluation in consideration of a trade.

As noted earlier in this thread, the Wentz deal of a conditional 2nd that will become a first based on availability.
Hope he plays well and the team gets at least a 2nd after this past weekend's heroics no one is trending higher.

What if he leads the team all the way. With health there is an enourmous amont of talent on this team.

If he leads the team the whole way and wins the SB, he will still be in SF next year...

I have no problem with this
hes gonna be here another year when we win our 6th
If he beats Dallas, we are getting a 1st.

no he wont, he will go to the highest bidder...SF needs money and picks and his value will never be higher (plus you get nothing in return for him) Trey is the future and you can't waste rookie contract years in the league right now.

If an ELITE QB will reportedly fetch 3 first round picks (and possibly something else), how does an above average QB not warrant 1 first? Or 2 day two picks?

Remember, picks are PROMISES OF NOTHING, whereas the player has established talent and value.

I think it's the money attached to him as well...the team getting him will have to determine if they want to extend him (or if Jimmy is even willing to do that).

It will be an interesting off season for sure.

Which means it will have to be a team with cap room and has the desire to compete right away.
