Are we all sure that Denver is "ready to win" now? I really dont see it. They won 7 games this year, only one of which came against a playoff team. These are the teams they beat:
New York Giants
New York Jets
Jacksonville
Washington
Dallas
LA Chargers
Detroit
This doesnt scream "ready to win" to me. They lost to pretty much every good team they faced. I get that having a great QB will change things, but I dont consider Jimmy a "great" quarterback. He is fine. But Denver isnt a team that is a competent QB away from being competitive. They are a team that could be a star QB away from being competitive. Especially because their current QB situation is meh and not downright horrible.
Going into 2022 with Jimmy, I still see them as the 4th best team in that division.
Good point man that division is rough. Get ready to saddle up with Mahomes, Herbert and Carr is no slouch. That's 6 brutal QB matchups. I think people point to Javonte Williams who is a freak, Sutton, Jeudy, Patrick, Bolles, Fant. That's a lot of draft capital right there with a young core of skill guys. Needs a QB.
