I could see a 3rd this year and maybe a 5th. Maybe 2 third rounders: 2022 and 2023 if the team has a surplus of draft picks.

I'm gonna say a 3rd plus an extra 5th from Carolina or the Giants.

If a team traded for Jimmy, they must pay $27 for 2022?
Right. The contract is not absolute.

We can give him permission to negotiate a deal with a new team before the trade.
There's no guarantee that the acquiring team would want to negotiate a multiyear deal before Jimmy plays a single down for them. With the cap going up, I think a team can fit his $27 for one year without too much trouble, then if he earns an extension for his 2022 performance, that team will work a deal that pays him what he deserves. Jimmy might want his $27 in 2022 then bet on himself to earn another deal after 2022 as a free agent.

They'll likely try for Watson, Rodgers, Wilson depending on what happens with them. I guess if none of them are available, or they strike out they'll go for Jimmy. I wouldn't see him as any teams 1st choice.
A package that got Lance will be close to landing one of those guys.
This. I honestly don't see any of those guys moving on except for Rodgers. And I'm not even 100% sold on that one. Are they even sold on Jordan Love yet? If they aren't and he fails, losing Rodgers could potentially cost some jobs. As for Watson, this isn't nearly over.

Y'all underestimate him too much. A guaranteed starter, no questions asked. Wins games, clutch, has playoff experience, and good age range.
teams that are "a quarterback away" would absolutely offer at LEAST a second rounder. Broncos, Panthers, Steelers, Washington.
Or teams like Detroit, Houston, etc that just need to start getting some stability.

Injuries are no joke and a prediction into the future when they occur almost every season.
The 9ers will try a trade, but in the end, finding a team to take his salary and provide a decent pick is almost impossible. I don't see more than a four with a huge potential the 9ers thank him for his service and cut him to allow him to navigate his own future. The 9ers are kind of that way.
I think those thinking a two or what not in dreamland. If I had to force an option I say cut.
If you are Washington, Denver, the Giants, Pittsburgh, Carolina, and possibly also Miami and Houston, what is your plan for the QB situation?
This isn't the 2021 draft at QB and all of the top veteran QBs are not hitting the market. A few of those teams need to win and are ready to win. A QB like Jimmy is perfect for them.

Lmao no one is trading ish for Jimmy. I'd be happy to just ditch his salary.

It's really going to come down to how other teams view Jimmy. Do they see him as a difference maker or just someone that can hold the fort until they find someone better? It's pretty clear that he needs to play in a structured offense that allows him to make a lot of easy throws. Not every team has a solid running game and a coach that designs plays that have a receiver open 10 yards in front of the QB on nearly every play.

With Jimmy's looks, if he was in prison you could get 100 cartons of smokes for him.

Why? Do you think he could get more than 100 cartons? I'm sure you realize I'm joking.

I'll guess Denver gives us the 2022 2nd rounder they got from the Rams and a 2023 3rd rounder..
