i do believe it though. I think JG is a better QB than Alex smith and that is what we got for him. Overall, I believe someone will make a similar offer but have some clause like "one second round pick will become a first rounder if JG does x,y, z".

i feel like fans on here think he's garbage for whatever reason. He's a very solid qb and even those are hard to find. He just isn't great, which I think is why it's such an issue in the fan base - we want greatness.

Given price inflation and the fact trey may need to bake a little longer, jimmy not looking so expendable. Might need a mid first to get interest and a second round chaser
