Will CAR choose to pay both Jimmy and Darnold? Doubtful

NO hasn't shown interest, Winston makes more sense.

ATL needs someone, they'll probably draft a guy.

SEA won't get Jimmy unless he's cut.

NYG don't seem to be interested in Jimmy.

I still think the Texans are in play.

Mills on a cheap deal > Jimmy at $27M

Not if you want to win

Lol you really think Jimmy makes the Texans a winning organization lol
Are we just ignoring today's report that there are two 2's on the table

If somehow next season we have a 27M clipboard holder instead of the quality of free agents we could have signed, heads need to roll.

record + playoffs is way more important to me than who is on the roster at what price.

So no, heads dont need to roll.

Losing out on quality signings directly impacts what that record will be, so yes heads need to roll.

What heads shall roll? Not anyone which puts our organization in danger (like losing Shanahan or Adam Peters).

If one thinks that is smart, then one is f**king dumb.

and if you keep a 27 million dollar qb around to hold a clipboard.. well,,,. whatever is worse than dumb is what that is

It's looking more and more likely Jimmy will be cut and be a backup / competition on a 1-year deal.

If Jimmy is cut, then Lynch will look like a frickin moron even more.

How is it Lynch's fault that teams don't want Jimmy? If anything the FO has done a good job putting out this fake news through reporters that teams are calling them and willing to give up a 2nd. Best offer has probably been a 2023 3rd round pick most likely.

It's his fault for not taking whatever he can get and his fault for not cutting Jimmy when or if he knew he wasn't getting anybody interested. The cap space was always more important than the comp.

Ryan went for a 3rd
I was told all he does is win

I guess teams read the fine print with that

Lol Baker Mayfield gonna cost way more than a third

based off what? He's got his own shoulder issue, played like s**t, is on his 5th yr option, and is an emotional baby. Reports are that's what Cleveland is looking for a day 2 pick.

One went for a conditional 6th round pick but the other will go for more than a 3rd lol. Okay 👌
Just my observation on the Matt Ryan trade, but the Falcons didn't have much leverage in the trade. Matt Ryan wanted out and the Falcons bought some time by delaying his $7 million bonus. They had to do it by this afternoon or eat that bonus money and then trade him. Getting a 3rd and not paying the $7 million was probably the best they could do.

Browns have no leverage with Baker because he wants out and they got Watson.

Lynch has no leverage unless they are seriously considering keeping Jimmy thru 2022. Even then, it comes at a cost. If that's not the plan then a release should be coming. It's all strange

times infinity
This is why teams shouldn't always go by good faith. They should've just sent Jimmy to the commanders.
