Indy's GM is on crack. Ever since Luck left that franchise, he's been aching to find the next best thing. He signed an aging Philip Rivers for a season, then Carson Wentz for a season, and now Matt Ryan for probably a season. It's the ultimate way to mismanage a roster, but hey it sells seats and jerseys when you can put names like Rivers and now Ryan on them.

Schefter is a professional. You may disagree with his takes but he's no troll. Also being right less than 100% of the time does not mean you are a troll if that's the case we are all trolls lol.

Dude, you e been spewing over and over that Jimmy will get our picks back. So tell me, do you really believe that? You really believe Jimmy is worth three first round picks? Just stop it.

Some picks back yes I believe it. This was part of the calculation Lynch made when trading all those picks away, that eventually JG would get some draft capital back. Another reason why we are probably so stubborn to cut him and I don't believe we will, especially with a div rival in the market. And no he's not worth three firsts. Not sure anyone is outside of true FQBs like Wilson and even he wasn't going for three firsts technically.

Well fair enough, but fact is we traded those 1st round picks. So to say Jimmy is going to get us our picks back implies at least a 1st rounder. If he's traded for a 4th, it isn't exactly getting us our picks back. I think his surgery played a small part in this, but the truth is teams would still trade for him despite the surgery if they felt he was worth it.

Bring Jimmy back to create a qb competition would be a hilarious waste of the rookie QB pay scale.

1) Don't draft Trey, run it back with Jimmy use that 12th pick on a good player that could have been used last year.

2) Draft Trey and utilize the $24M in 2021 and $27M in 2022 for top flight talent as we go for for SB.

or

3) Lose out on high draft picks and $51M in cap space to have discourse in the locker room.
