Y'all are hilarious

Believe it when I see it.

You're already seeing it. Fans literally would rather hurt the team than get something out of Jimmy. All because he triggers them immensely. In sports this is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard from a triggered fanbase.

Does that surprise you? First thing many of those "fans" did after the NFCCG loss was to come here and celebrate Jimmy losing it (even though they claim W/L aren't a QB stat ) instead of being bummed out. Priorities are messed up around these parts, just to "win" arguments lol

No one's triggered by s**t. It's more valuable cutting his ass now for the cap space when we can still plug holes and extend contracts. As opposed to clinging on for the hope that some team throws us a 6th rd pick in august.

I honestly believe the cap space now for a pass rusher would be better for the team than keeping Jimmy and hoping someone get desperate.

Why didn't they sign one instead of a punt returner and another ST guy? That's like 6-7 million right there

Because ST was an obvious deficit. So was CB. Both good signing. We need a player to command double teams opposite Bosa. That would put us back in the early 2019 defense conversation. We need a healthy Dee Ford type.

Like who?

Remember if players haven't been signed or moved at this point they obviously suck ass according this amazing fanbase.
there are some decent d line guys out there. we have discussed them. hyder for one. key for another but lots of people have little confidence that lynch can get either of them and we will have to hear how. we checked them out. in regards to the o line. its stunning how they have ignored that especially with a young qb at the helm next year.. at least that is what we think. but hell. if you keep jimmy. you are not in a win now mode. you are just in a bridge mode to get to trey so why the hell improve the line at all

I'm down for cutting him at this point. I don't blame FO for trying their best to get something for him. It didn't work out for numerous reasons but it's time to cut our losses. Some team will sign him and eliminate most of not all our injury settlement cap hit.

NFLN Breaking News :
Jimmy G has been traded to the Iowa Barnstormers for a package of Hubba Bubba and a conditonal bag of popcorn.

well no one goes to those games cuz people are getting shot left and right in downtown des moines every day where the barnstormers play and gangs of young punks roam the city skywalks beating up people . but they have some good italian places to eat where they play so jimmy may be happy

Short answer: Carolina or nobody imo. Nobody is going to trade for Jimmy and have $28m in cap laying around to pay him as a competitor to start or be a backup for one year. Jimmy isn't going to accept a redone multi year contract slicing his yearly salary in half in that role even if he likes the team trading for him. We are screwed on this deal. Hopefully the rest of the off-season goes much better.

Yup if I'm Lynch I'm on the phone with Carolina and I'm not off the phone until a deal is done. JG for McCaffrey as the foundation I am hoping for. McCaffrey's dad was WR on the '94 team when KS was ball boy. One of Papa Shanny's first acts was to bring in Papa McCaffrey in Denver. Lynch and CMC both from Stanford. Lot of connections here. We are built for the run with top FB, LT and TE who can block. Let's do it.

I don't honk it's too crazy If CMC restructured his contract (idk if that's possible) I'd be down. CMC would kill it in Kyles OZ.

Lol get real. If you don't want to interact don't. Was Adam Schefter trolling when he outlined a 49ers keep JG scenario? Or does he have no dog in the JG debate and just called it as it is.

Was Schefter trolling when he said Mac Jones was going to SF? Jimmy is trash and the league has spoken. Get him off the roster and move on

It only took you a few years, but I'm glad you finally come to terms

There are about 7-8 upgrades at DE we could sign. But ZaDarius Smith as a very good pass rusher. He may signed already. And he's an injury risk like Ford. But if he remains healthy, he's dynamic.

I don't hate the idea but we already have Dee Ford. Same could said for him. Say we get a 4th at the highest for Jimmy, we would have 5 picks in the very high second to 4th round. It may not happen now but come draft day a team could get desperate.

If there's a player we like, we can still cut Jimmy. Again, not you but it's astonishing people would rather just hurt the team and cut him just because he triggers them beyond humanly possible. It's not like Jimmy is holding us completely hostage.

Sarcasm can be trolling I suppose. At least this is original content though, not something I have repeated over and over again.

I do give you props for the original content, trolling and all

The original content being the dominoes part, not the Jimmy is in the 8-14 range. That part is a direct quote from posters in here.

Yeah, the 8 more dominoes part is what I was referring to lol

I believe you on the 8-14 range part there are crazy's on both extreme sides lol

Yup. I think the injuries in Carolina were because they simply refused to take him off the field he would get 25-35 touches per game. Not sustainable even if you are built different and in ridiculous shape like CMC. I see him here with Sermon getting a couple touches per game and Mitchell getting around 8-12 per game. Keep everyone fresh. With Mostert gone we have a vacancy at RB and we hit the draft well twice last year could use a vet. I see Carolina on board as they didn't draft CMC that was back when Rivera was in town they drafted Chubba and are fielding offers for CMC. Plus they really need a QB.
It's over. We are going to cut him with an agreement that If a team tries to sign him as a backup, then he checks with us to see if we want to match that offer.

That would be nice but Carolina and the fantasy football community would go bonkers.

It should really come to everyone's realization that Jimmy isn't worth the price tag we're putting on him.

If Lynch lowered his ask then another team may be willing to take on Jimmys crazy contract.

I've never heard of that kind of agreement for cutting a player. It's not an free agent tag we're placing on him.
