Wake up another day with one of the best QB rooms in the league
FEELS BENISSIMO BABY
Nothing like having your most expensive player being the backup and being avg on top of it…perfect way to building a super bowl roster derp.
This isn't a superbowl roster with an essentially rookie qb. You've said it yourself he's going to have an up and down season. Why not have Jimmy on the team, still mentor him, have insurance in case trey gets injured since he was injured twice in his limited play last season, and get a 3rd next year when jimmy leaves next season. Its pretty obvious shanalynch doesn't think they will contend next year from the lack of moves thus far.
JIMMY had an up and down season!!! You guys cant be serious here. No one on this planet expects Trey to come in and be elite. But HE DOESNT HAVE TO BE!! All he has to do is do what Jimmy did last season...which, lets be real here.....shouldnt be THAT difficult to accomplish. Maybe Trey isnt ready ready, but he doesnt have to be ready ready to replicate a Jimmy season. You guys are acting as if Jimmy is some irreplaceable HOF quarterback. He isnt. He has been one of the weakest links on the team the last few seasons, and a large reason why we didnt advance to the SB last season.
Did you or did you not watch the 2 seasons that Jimmy didn't play due to injury? What was the record? What did the niners do? Did the team magically stop being elite without jimmy? You act like he had nothing to do with the teams success. If he was so s**tty the team would have been in the superbowl with any qb, hoyer, beathard and mullens. If he was so s**tty our savior Shanahan wouldn't have started him last season. So let's not act like Jimmy sucks. He played the last postseason with a f**ked up thumb and shoulder for his teammates. He beat the rams for the team to even get to the postseason. He isn't elite, but he isn't "trash" like you guys claim he is. Enough.
