What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

Sigh. Guess we have to keep winning games with this guy.

he will be cut once he passes a physical or if a team magically wants to trade for him in that time span.
At this point, who's left? I Think the Panthers are content to draft a QB. Miami seems happy with Tua, which sucks. Saints, Steelers, and Falcons got FA qbs. Maybe the Giants if they decide they are done with Daniel Jones? At this point, I just see Seattle and have a feeling they will go with Mayfield if they make a move. It boils down to the reality, that all these teams know he's a free agent at the end of the season, and maybe sooner.

I'd prefer to win super bowls. That's where Lance comes in. Good times ahead

NYG added Tyrod T. Can't someone show some interest in our sandwich artist?
Now that Jimmy is seeing that his market is limited to nothing can lynch go to him and say "we can just cut you or we can renegotiate your contract"?

That's why I found what you said yesterday about Jimmy turning down the Washington "offer" hard to believe. I don't think there were any offers let alone much interest and how it all played out supports this thinking.

So let's see.. take a pay cut to stick around as backup... or be able to hit the FA market pick my destination freely start a fresh new chapter. Tough call.

What destination would that be exactly? Teams aren't even willing to give up a 5th rd pick for him. JG doesn't have a place to call home.

Some team would sign him

Probably for the vet minimum. At least he would know the system here. I doubt he takes a paycut to be a back-up here though.

Washington was calling every team possible about QBs...they called about mahomes they even called Andrew luck reportedly. Carson wentz was not their top choice or even top 5. Martin Mayhew had been in SF with Jimmy for years. I would not at all be shocked if they had a 2 on the table and Jimmy turned it down. Middlekauff said a source told him they had a two on the table around that time and Crocker who has sources in the building said it was DC. We will never know for sure though.

Who cares about renegotiating it at this point...get him off the team. This is Lance's squad and having Jimmy split reps with him at all is a waste of time. I'd rather just have him gone then as a backup and I don't think he wants to be a backup either.

pick what lol? the market has spoken and no team wanted him. I'm sure he can get signed as a FA and be a backup somewhere else...but picking his spot? That s**t is long gone.
