What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

Yup playoff dub.

LOL okay so he gets credit for the win BUT how dare someone says he only threw the ball 6 times...wasn't his fault he didn't have to do a damn thing. Can't have it both ways dude.

Sure he can be traded. But it will be when he is healthy and can throw. Which is summer time.

No one will trade for him in June/July. He will be cut the moment he passes his physical

I think that's the plan but who really knows at this point.

Yeah you can. If the stat is record as starter and he started yup it's a win.

You are still allowed to use your brain and say well he didn't really do much to get the dub.

Do you blame JG for 8 attempts that day I don't. If Mostert wants to turn into Jim Brown for a day let's ride him.

He has zero good playoff games. Cowboys game in the first half was his best performance and he almost threw it away.

That's not true he had a better QBR in the NFC Champ game than Matty S. It was one of his higher QBR games of the season, and we were undefeated when he had a QBR that high this year. The NFC Champ loss was 20 runs for 50 yards and a Tartt drop that's how we lost it. We legit had two linemen run into each other on one play.

I'd be willing to be that if Key wanted to come back and accept the offer the team originally extended to him, they would bring him back. If the team is willing to keep 11 on the 53, I don't see them opposed to holding 15 on the 90 man roster. Plenty can happen between now and then

But don't you want to see what Alex Barrett and Chris Slayton can do? I mean all they need is a shot. No point in signing Key when we already have guys like that, right?

You keep making false equivalencies. It would be more like I'd rather have Key than Danielle Hunter, even though he is more of a "proven commodity."

You had 3 player currently recovering from a torn ACL Gallup/Winston/Godwin all 3 got paid. Bud dupree recovering from an ACL got $85M last yr….a ACL recovery is by far more extensive then Jimmy's issue. If a team wanted Jimmy that wouldn't have been an massive issue.

There was half a dozen openings and nothing. No one wants him dude.

That doesn't conflict with anything that was said. Was Jimmy not asked to do a lot ? He wasn't.

This is the equivalent of someone saying : "he never had to work an ounce in his life once he got out of college" and the opponent saying : "he won 100 million in lottery his senior year of college, why would he care to work" ?

They aren't mutually exclusive. A quarterback that passes six times isn't asked to do a lot by definition. It's not inherently his fault at all, but it is still the truth.
You're not arguing in good faith. You know what that statement implies. It implies Jimmy wasn't asked to do much because he's not that good of a QB. Jimmy wasn't asked to do much because the run game was unstoppable. On the flip side, if Jimmy threw for 400 yards that game and Mostert only had 6 carries for 25 yds, it wouldn't imply that Mostert sucked as a RB. The facts would have shown that the defense couldn't stop the pass.

The outcome of that GB game was Coaching 101: "If your opponent can't stop it, keep doing it until they do."

If he's healthy, recovered, can throw he will get picked up by another team. The injury, surgery, recovery and high salary are the issues.

Now that Jimmy is seeing that his market is limited to nothing can lynch go to him and say "we can just cut you ̶o̶r̶ ̶w̶e̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶r̶e̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶r̶a̶c̶t̶"?

What do you guys think of the Watson legal situation? I'm sure that will drag for awhile after this recent news. With all the remaining QBs left, they might as well just trade for Jimmy G for their backup plan to start in case this whole situation blows up in their face. I mean Baker will not go back there and they are ready to win now there too. Just give us a 7th rounder for all I care . But I'm sure Lynch will say, well I got 2 second round offers . I'm sure NO, Atl and Car are probably glad they didn't get Watson.

Lets not forget that Mostert rushed for 200+ yards in that game, so why would you throw the ball??

I have brought this up many times on this board. What you are saying sounds good in theory, but isnt reality. Please read this:
