Again... The goal is to win. Getting a couple 2nds would've helped counter Jimmy's loss. Getting a 3rd is not as valuable as getting to the NFCC with Jimmy.
Jimmy had 3,800 yards 20/12 let's stop acting like he's something he's not. No one on the league wants him clearly.
The goal is developing Lance which requires playing football. They thought enough to move yrs of picks for him and tried moving Jimmy because he's not the starter anymore. Jimmy knows that's why he said goodbye.
