What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

Jimmy is an above average QB but they are looking for a super star. If they would've gotten a better offer that would've countered the loss and made up some of Treys inexperienced inefficiencies they would've taken it. They didn't. Jimmy coming back and starting has far more value than starting a 2nd year guy from an all-star college team in a scrub league.
.

Again... The goal is to win. Getting a couple 2nds would've helped counter Jimmy's loss. Getting a 3rd is not as valuable as getting to the NFCC with Jimmy.

Jimmy had 3,800 yards 20/12 let's stop acting like he's something he's not. No one on the league wants him clearly.

The goal is developing Lance which requires playing football. They thought enough to move yrs of picks for him and tried moving Jimmy because he's not the starter anymore. Jimmy knows that's why he said goodbye.

Thoughts and prayers for you during this difficult time

And that's with kittle deebo and aiyuk to throw to. Most qbs have much less than that

Fitterer added there were no hurt feelings between the organization and Darnold after the Panthers' failed attempt to lure Deshaun Watson to the team. Wretched in 2021, Darnold seems to be the default starter for Carolina if the team doesn't acquire another QB -- Jimmy Garoppolo, perhaps -- via a trade or in the NFL Draft. No team is more down-bad at quarterback than the Panthers, whose head coach, Matt Rhule, has to have a decent 2022 to keep his job. Being forced to start Darnold could mean Rhule loses his job by midseason.

😝

Well trading for and banking on jimmy to stay healthy and produce is not something I'd want to hitch my cart to.

Panthers would rather play Darnold then trade for Jimmy G at this pt lol. Yet people in here are saying Jimmy is the starter if we want to win a Super Bowl…how can people say this trash with a straight face lol?

I've been wondering this for forever. But every day more and more see the light. Only a small few left in the dark

Alright lets break it down:
9-6 record is NOT good.
99 rating is slightly above average (94 was the 2021 average).
His 2019 rating was higher than 2021. Dinking and dunking padded his rating.
His 2021 td/int ratio was less than 2:1 (20 - 12). It has always been that way since he got here except for 2019.

Did you watch any games last year? J/K.

How is 9-6 not good? It's .600. Bill Walsh career is .609 for example.

Really? 9-6 is good to you? Come on man.

2019 his "best yr" he was 7th highest in the league in INT% despite having one of the lowest depths of target.

he is who he is, an avg starting QB on a badass team. Good locker room guy and all around nice dude. People are STILL trying to paint a different picture of Jimmy and it's just nauseating at this pt. The league has spoken and damn near everyone wanted him moved…now that no one wants him we're back to pretending he's better than he is

What terrible take lololol. They would have to give up a big chunk to sign Jimmy and get rid of Darnold. The fact that you act like Jimmy is a free agent is laughable.

And before you use the old "but Trubisky and Wentz", what exactly did teams give up for these guys? Pennies on the dollar and absolutely nothing.

Wentz had 3,563 years, 27 TDs and 7 picks and the Colts showed him the door.

20 TDs and 12 INTs is good too I guess lol. So good no one wanted him.

put freaking case Keemun or Gardner Minshew on this team and they're winning 8-9 games

Yet 49ers haven't shown Jimmy the door.

Derp.

yeah you're right teams can't take on salary and players can't redo deals in order to play. If they truly wanted Jimmy he would be on their team right now…clearly you haven't paid attention to anything this off season.

Because they don't have too. His injured and has gtd cash because of it. Get a clue

Yeah Faithful6 and I dont really see eye to eye on this.
Everyone gets to have their opinion tho. I am not hating on Jimmy, just wondering how he got to this point.
The Super Bowl PTSD kind of makes a little sense. Its a bummer if he still has the talent, just lost his confidence.

Above average 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he's so above average teams will go after every qb besides him. I'm dead

He's injured. He's also better than Lock, Mariota, Darnold, Trubisky, Winston, and maybe Wentz. So he's still a better starter than 5 new starters. But injured he's behind all of them.
there isn't no way you can say he's better than those guys until he proves it.

Like this you mean...

JG 99 rating / 33-14
Lock 79 / 8-13
Mariota 89 / 29-32
Trubisky 87 / 29-21
Winston 88 / 33-44
Wentz 90 / 44-40
like meaning do it on those teams the other QBs are on (ie do it somewhere else)

Kyle had to change his whole offense and could only muster up a QB who can only hand off and throw contested passes over the middle.

Oh I see so until JG builds a time machine and goes back into all those QBs situations and outperforms them only then will you accept what the above stats show. Sounds reasonable.
with your imagination i can see why you went that route..but, no time machine needed. We will all find out this year when he's on another team and proves he wasn't coddled

Gonna be hard to prove from the bench
Jimmy' three ideal landing spots are gone. Broncos, Colts and steelers. He is f**ked. Going to the Panthers is career suicide. He's better taking a paycut and staying put here waiting for a better opportunity next year.
