I think he would do 100x better than darnold, but carolina isn't in position to make a deep run like the other 3. Sometimes it's better to sit and wait for the right opportinity then to start for the wrong team.

Exactly...there is no way we are taking Jimmy's $27m cap hit into the 2022 season when games start being played. His agent and Jimmy have got to realize that the market doesn't look great for him. It wouldn't be the worst thing to have him as a backup QB for Trey at a reduced salary.

Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world imo if no trade materializes. Course if Trey is blowing JG away KS sets the depth chart however we have the best chance to win. I expect Lance to start Week 1.
