Activating that injury clause after the no trade clause was a great strategy on the part of JG and his agent. Doing it a week before free agency was a way of sticking it to our front office.

Jimmy having just had surgery on his shoulder means he can't throw a football in the moment or have full range of motion of that shoulder.
Therefore he cannot pass a physical. It's pretty much common sense dude.
You can still trade for a player who doesn't pass a physical but you assume any and all risk in doing so.
