People are not "hating on" Jimmy because they are just "haters." That is complete b******t, and it's sad attempt to explain away all the reasons why we (and the NFL as a whole) do not feel he is worth starting on this team, or at his salary (for the rest of the NFL). These things will never apply to Trey next year or the year after most likely. He will not be a 30 year old player making rookie mistakes. IF he makes rookie mistakes next year, it will be due to inexperience, and will be expected.
We are not "haters." We simply choose to live in reality. In three years, if Trey is sucking up, after he's had ample time to learn the NFL, and IF he has not shown any improvement or any reason to think he will, THEN you will see us call for him to be replaced.
1000%
Yup. Nothing but love for Jimmy and what he did coming to the team. But he is probe to injury and when he plays, he is a solid QB, but nothing extraordinary. I wish him all the best, but he hit his ceiling, pair that with the injuries, and it is just time to move on. Excited to see what Lance has and how he progresses.
Also would like to add that after the knee injury, he just didn't have the same mobility we saw in that stretch to end 2017.
