What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

Brilliant move by his agent

Lol how is that brilliant? So it hurts his trade value and teams cap space is all but soaked up when he does get cleared..He gets cut and gets $1.4M in June lol.

wow you didn't really think that through agent. You're fired lol

You're not understanding. No one is "hating on" Jimmy. What is happening is Jimmy has shown to be average and not improving. His potential is reached. Trey is a ROOKIE, about to be a first year player. Trey will be graded on a curve for this next season. Maybe even the next two.

People are not "hating on" Jimmy because they are just "haters." That is complete b******t, and it's sad attempt to explain away all the reasons why we (and the NFL as a whole) do not feel he is worth starting on this team, or at his salary (for the rest of the NFL). These things will never apply to Trey next year or the year after most likely. He will not be a 30 year old player making rookie mistakes. IF he makes rookie mistakes next year, it will be due to inexperience, and will be expected.

We are not "haters." We simply choose to live in reality. In three years, if Trey is sucking up, after he's had ample time to learn the NFL, and IF he has not shown any improvement or any reason to think he will, THEN you will see us call for him to be replaced.

1000%

Yup. Nothing but love for Jimmy and what he did coming to the team. But he is probe to injury and when he plays, he is a solid QB, but nothing extraordinary. I wish him all the best, but he hit his ceiling, pair that with the injuries, and it is just time to move on. Excited to see what Lance has and how he progresses.

Also would like to add that after the knee injury, he just didn't have the same mobility we saw in that stretch to end 2017.

So there's even more risk in that situation since it's fully guaranteed no?

You asked me to name a player

Durant passed a physical with a torn ACL ?
At this point it's Houston, or wait for an injury.

It was an Achilles.
Agent: "here's the plan, we're gonna get you surgery that you don't need so you can have a $7.5M GTD coming to you for a couple months."

"it's gonna totally destroy and chances of you getting your $27M or being traded to a team that might give you an extension or start in 2022"

"Oh, here the real kicker, once you do pass your physical. That $7.5M disappears and the only cash you got coming to you is your $1.4M prorated bonus"

Jimmy G: yeahhh your fired lol

Name me a football player…and yeah teams are more than willing to take Kevin Durant with a torn achilles compared to Jimmy G.
