not to mention... the team has taken no steps at all to improve the o line which lost two guys from last year. HOPING that people like banks will step in and do the job as compared to actually being aggressive like the bengals.. having an actual plan to fix this key area.. no matter the qb, it is unreal the team takes this area lightly,. of but of course...... the jimmy salary prevented us from actually making those types of moves... and please no more blather that keeping jimmy is not preventing us from signing people.. yes it did. we are a team that got worse and even niner fan favorites like matt have said so.. lynch played chicken with no plan b... then he lost some decent o line guys with no plan b other than to hope and dream and hope that dreams work out with people like banks.... you have a young guy you think is the cornerstone of your team for the next 15 years but you protect him with a ten cent line led by a center who is a huge question mark in itself.. OH.. forgot. hoping mm comes back healthy./ but has he ever pass protected well in his life.. did i miss it. was it effective.. we do not have any elite roster. we have a terrible o line. and thanks to a combo of lynch kyle and jimmy... a cluster f**k with the qb thing and 29 million dollars in two back up quarterbacks... no other team. none. zero. ever does that
