Went under Red9Iron. There was a poster named puppetmaster that was adamant that Shaun Hill was the next Montana.

The new webmasters for 49ers.com decided they don't want a message board because they don't like traffic or something?
The mods from there opened up a lookalike copy and call themselves "The Official 49ers.com message board" but it's a s**t pile.
The last time I was there, only one person was allowed to create threads, if you created a thread she would delete it and start
one with the same title, or merge it into another thread she had already started. Also, the mods there went berserk with "enforcing the rules"
it's a complete s**t show now, and you can't even go look for yourself because you have to sign up for an account just to lurk.

I just signed up for here tonight. I have been on the forums.49ers for 16 years with the same name and I am fed up with them. I had 50k posts before it was shut down like 5 years ago and stopped posting on the new one bc it wasn't the same as the old board. I came back like 4 months ago and it is horrible. The mods have completely ruined the board. Deleting people's posts and dictating what you are allowed to say. You aren't allowed to have a different opinion of the mods. In my opinion mods shouldn't dictate everything and they have 2 who control everything. Plus we can't even create our own threads. The conversations there are dead because only 20 people are active now

I have never been on a different board so I am kinda looking forward to having a fresh start. Hopefully I find some old faces here
