IF the 9ers do beat the Rams on Sunday, chances are they will play them again the following week, right?

If the Rams lose there's a good chance they drop to the 5th seed assuming Arizona beats Seattle. Dallas would likely be the Rams first round opponent. AZ would move up to number 3. The 49ers likely end up number 6 and head to Arizona.

Even if AZ loses the Rams likely end up 4th if they lose which would mean Rams vs. AZ. The only way I can see a Rams/49er playoff game is if the 49ers lose and end up 7th. A 49er win probably means they won't see the Rams in the first round.

Then again, if Dallas and AZ loses it changes all that. It gives me a headache thinking about all those scenarios.

thanks for figuring that out for me, even if its not the only possibility of course lol. We can take the Cardinals although they're another team where I'd hate to have anything less than a one possession lead over them going into the final possession. Murray can scramble around and we'll probably not get any holding calls on our DLine but instead get a roughing the passer or PI lol

1. RUN.THE.BALL

2. Get Lance easy throws on the move, check downs and quick outs etc.

3. Take away the deep plays and make Stafford check it down and drive down the field. He gets impatient!
Let's skip step 1 aka first half tactics and go straight to the only step needed it's called LET TREY SAUTE.
Easy!...Lance started doing better once they started moving him around and oh yeah the lucky PI call on Aiyuk.

Would be so nice to get Mosely & Greenlaw back for this game. Even if they are only 90% I'd like to see them suit up for this match because it's so extremely critical and 90% of Mosely would be an upgrade.

Would be nice!

And Shaiir... Greenlaw's absence for 15 games worth of quarters is troubling this season. Gonna make the decision if keeping him or Shaiir tough. Personally, I wouldn't mind trading Greenlaw for a 4th and keeping Shaiir

Let's get it!!!
McVay is gonna have an oh s*** moment when he sees Shanny with a 21 year old dynamic franchise QB and he looks over to Stafford who turns 34 in a month. He backed the wrong pony.

KS has beat the rams with Nick Mullens last year

Trey is not an automatic loss if he starts. I actually think his arm can punish LA if they over commit to stopping the run

Trey does give us that Deep Threat that no one is really scared of with JG. I think it is best to just keep the Rams guessing throughout the week, but I think KS has already decided TL is the choice for this game.

An injured thumb on the throwing hand of a QB is a very serious issue.
I'm thinking that the quick release from JG is a very important part of why we have the Rams number. Their pass rush can't disrupt the offense as easily as it might be able to with our rookie's slight hesitation before throwing the ball, as compared to the quick release from JG. Also our defense will be tested much more than they were against Houston. Here's hoping we continue to dominate the rams. Go Niners!

What about my post made you think I was saying anything along of the lines of we lose if TL starts
Go 49ers!

i was agreeing but did it poorly

I think TL can punish the LA D in ways we never had before

McVay should definitely freak out
