I think the Rams are in big trouble.
49ers run game has been Sean McVay's worst nightmare and now Kyle has a QB that can attack deep and from anywhere on the field, ooooh wee. Enjoy this run guys. This might be the most dynamic 49ers offense we've seen in decades.

I think the plan here is clear. They're gonna spend all week gameplanning for our earlier run heavy approach and for the threat of TL runs. This is why we should throw all day on em. Ramsey can only cover 1 man. Double team Donald. Checkmate. They can't cover Deebo, Aiyuk and Kittle all at once while presenting a stacked run front. Just not possible.

It def looks promising, but if the game is close… the refs will get involved

Lets just run the ball 40 times and not care who the QB is .
Even with the JG era pretty much over... this might be the one team an injured JG might play better than a healthy Lance. But hey, we are rolling with Lance now... just dont go towards Ramsey. Would love to see a Lance 60 yard bomb early to open up that run game though.

That'd be fun to watch, although I can't imagine 49ers drastically changing their identity like that. The approach will remain the same, the only difference is now there's a new element that's extremely hard to prepare for.

Tbph... if they truly woke up and we can't run the ball, dont know if the QB is gonna matter.

i wouldnt trade greenlaw
its a groin injury, its not like its a knee or back issue
It was technically a groin, but more likely a core muscle injury more akin to what Bosa had his senior year.
My point is, we can only keep 1 between Shaiir and Greenlaw with Warner getting the extension. So, get something back while you can from. Whomever you won't end up keeping a la trading Kwon Alexander.

SF owns LA the same way SEA owns SF
We "can" lose but i feel zero stress going in
Exact opposite of how i feel for all SEA games

All in all... how is it that we seem to have so much success against the Rams during Shanahan's tenure?
Someone mentioned they have bad linebackers, which Shanahan is super good at attacking in both the run/pass game. Is it that?
Also makes sense why we struggle against the Seahawks... they tend to have a very strong front seven.

It's a weird phenomenon where our interior line can somehow block the best defensive player in the league as long as he wears yellow and blue. Yet former first round pick journeyman underachievers that wear green turn into hall of famers.

It IS pretty amazing, actually, LOL.
Our linemen are great run-blockers, so that doesn't surprise me when we can run against them. But what gets me is that last time we played them, they actually did pretty well against him in pass protection. Even Brian Baldinger pointed out a play where, I think, Daniel Brunskill had effective 1 on 1 pass protection against Donald.

In an alternate universe where the Seahawks are coming to Santa Clara and we've clinched but still can potentially host a playoff game and the Seahawks were fighting for a spot, how would we all feel?
We have a big-brother / little-brother psychological advantage over the Rams just as the Seahawks have over us. I bet their nervous, and probably released that at a minimum, they're still in the playoffs.
