I remember liking a lot coming out of Michigan State the year he was drafted, not to mention that he also spent 2020 in Atlanta which at the time ran a variation of what we run on D. If he has to play on Sunday due to guys not being able to clear Covid protocols, maybe he can assimilate to the system quickly and contribute. At the very least he was probably worth taking a flyer on. Thought?
P.S. I didn't see a post on this topic yet, so if any Mods need to move or merge this thread feel free.

Welcome off the street, please be ready to start in a playoff-type game against one of the best offenses in the league…
Really hoping our guys come back off the COVID list

Better than Kirkpatrick but that's not saying much. Pretty sure they could sign Crocker and it would be an upgrade to Dre

I'm guessing this move was made because we now have 3 DBs on the C19 list
I pray the staff can get him up to speed real quick, but for all we know, he's no better than Norman / Kirkpatrick at this point of his career (what has he done lately). I hope that's not the case.

I see Dennard as an upgrade over Norman...he's 30, very experienced. With Moseley coming back, Thomas improving game by game, it could be adios time for Norman, although you'd want to go into the playoffs with as much CB experience as possible. That said, Norman's arguably caused more concern than help. However it shakes out, I'd expect DD to be on the active roster in the playoffs.

And he was terrible this year prior to that signing.

EVEN if he's as sorry as PI NORM at the corner, it would be nice to see another jersey # giving up 1st down after 1st down..
