Jimmy can't even still throw - give Trey the start.
The Rams pass rush is likely to only leave the 9er QB with a short amount of time to get the ball out. Jimmy is quicker getting the ball out than Trey right now. If his thumb injury doesn't hurt his accuracy too much, I think he is the better choice for this game.

You can't assume it will go the same way this time. This Rams team is not the same Rams team we played in November. They jump-started our season to get to this point, and now they are looking to end it. If we go in with "We won 5 in-a-row and we own them!" we might get slapped across the face. The team and fans have to expect a total different Rams team and way we should play them. That's why I picked Lance.

Trey Lance...Jimmy hasn't thrown a football in 2 weeks
Let's stop being crazy

This.
Just Win Baby.
Even if Jimmy thinks he's okay to play, I'd be concernd that he would fumble if he gets hit since he won't be able to hold the ball as well. Either that of throw an early INT. The Niners can't afford either of those.
I prefer Jimmy for quick release if healthy. Lance has never seen a pass rush like the Rams before, though I suppose he did face a healthy Cards defense.

Quick release but lead feet. He can't scramble or escape a pass rush.

Justin Fields isn't a 9er.

Just stating facts. I also chose Lance because I do feel Jimmy is sub-95% .
I prefer a healthy Jimmy over a healthy Trey but a healthy Trey over a Jimmy with a bad thumb.

It is that ownage of the Rams that Jimmy brings that tilts it in his favor for me.
