Yea and definitely a loss to the Chargers

I disagree. I like that we have the chargers coming off a bye week. I also believe that we're a better team than the Raiders but with a schedule like that there will be a game or two where the niners drop an egg to an inferior opponent. Just like there will be a game or two they are expected to drop to another good team and win.

I like the way the schedule is broken up. On paper, we don't have more than 2 tough games in a row. We do have 4 straight tough games but they're broken up with the bye week. We only have 3 road games in the last 9 weeks. Four of the first 6 are on the road and one is a night game so that's good for the fans that have seats in the sun at Levis. All and all it's a pretty good schedule considering we play in a tough division and face the AFC west this year as well as TB.

I think we can beat the Chargers as well, but this team does not perform well after a BYE. They enjoy their vacation too much and come back lazy. Hopefully Shanahan has them prepared after a BYE

smoked the Browns after their bye in 2019. Beat the Rams after their bye in 2020. Last yr was a weird one vs INDY, it was some wild "Bomb cyclone" that was right over the stadium the whole game. I wouldn't call that "lazy" I think that was the Josh Norman/Mosley PI fest because of the Wentz underthrows (Mosley also got hurt). Needed Jimmy to do more than manage towards the end, which ended in two INTs it that crazy weather.
