I've lived at altitude before (Denver, Colorado), and what I remember most are the headaches/fatigue in those first few days.
Altitude will be a factor for both teams … so if John/Kyle are wise, they'll be on a flight immediately after the Chargers game.

With the Cardinals playing at SoFi versus the Rams, it's imperative the Niners try to gain every possible advantage going into
that MNF contest 🤔

They should travel to MC on say, Wednesday leading up to the game for their normal practice week (Thursday being like Wed) getting acclimated to the elevation the entire preparation time.
I would right after the game before

Agree - It would benefit the team to leave immediately after the Chargers game. They'd have 2 to 2.5 days to acclimate before practice.
Leaving Santa Clara on Wednesday doesn't allow enough time to get their lungs ready to practice leading up to MNF.

The longer they hang around in Cali, the more they'll suffer late in the 3rd to 4th quarter. Walking around as a tourist is one thing, exerting
the amount of energy it takes to perform at a high level is another.

you just reminded me of a great point.. the 49ers are one of the two teams assigned to the country as ambassadors of the NFL. They will have to be there to do what ever dog and pony show they need to do. so they might leave a lot earlier.

OTOH, Mexico City is known for some really bad air quality at times.

I think we got really lucky with how our schedule turned out. No major time zone change after week 6. 9 home games, 7 road and 1 neutral, bye week right in the middle of the season.

Rookie HC week 1, after that at home against Seattle who are on a short week to start off the season. Some tough stretches throughout but all things considered I'm very happy with how it turned out. Check out some more thoughts below

I want to buy tickets to Oct 16 @ Falcons
anyone been to Mercedes Benz stadium? waht seats are good? I want a close to field experience rather than one of those where I'm just watching the game just to watch the game, are the first row behind the endzone any good? (niners side of course during pre-game warmups)

any info would be appreciated, thanks!

New Years weekend. NFL did this on purpose to make traveling as inconvenient as possible for 49ers fans

I've had comped stays available on NYE previous years, but not this year
Is there a way to buy game day tickets directly at the stadium or directly through the 49ers? Going through Ticketmaster, etc. is rip off.

Yes, there's a box office at the stadium. I don't have the office hours
