Thankfully the game was live on the TV in the UK but we are 8 hours in front of you guys so finished towards 1am. At 10pm (2pm) I was all for switching off, didn't fancy a shut out. I have to say, in over 30 years following the niners from 1000s of miles away, that is easily one of the best games I have seen, every facet was outstanding, even Robbie on the punts! I very nearly pulled the plug at around midnight when facing the 4th down with just over 2 minutes left, I simply couldn't see a win, how wrong I was. Been a long day at work today.😴

I wish a reporter would ask McVay what he got Kyle Shanahan for Father's Day this year.

Love our approach to Aaron Donald. People rave about this guy as the second coming. I just don't see it. Put two bodies on him and problem solved. Granted this opens up things for other guys but oh well. The blueprint here is simple. 4 hands and 600 lbs of oline on Donald every play and throw away from Ramsey.

That play where Jimmy was hit in the helmet should have been a penalty according to the rules. It's also a rule that needs to revised. When a defender is coming in with his hands up to block the pass and his hand makes contact with the helmet or even the face mask, there shouldn't be a penalty. If there is no malicious intent where it's obvious that the defender is trying to hurt the QB then don't call it. The helmet and face mask ar ethere to protect the QB just like it is for the other players.
I recall Niner fans for being upset a few years ago when the Niners were called for a facemask violation against Drew Bees when there was incidental contact. It had a big effect on the outcome of that game. They need to take those types of calls out of the game.

Jimmy gets hit like that several times a season and it never gets called.

This part right here. Who you got? Them or Zona w/o DHop?
