Love our approach to Aaron Donald. People rave about this guy as the second coming. I just don't see it. Put two bodies on him and problem solved. Granted this opens up things for other guys but oh well. The blueprint here is simple. 4 hands and 600 lbs of oline on Donald every play and throw away from Ramsey.

Lol

All i can say is now our niners are living rent free in the ram's head which will just allow us some edge next time.

Imagine if the Rams still had Robert Quinn.

ya what was that both ran the same route that wouldve been competition to Kupp for sure

That was a mid season trade not fully grasping the playbook.

Great analysis. I can't recall a single play he made yesterday. Kinda like he wasn't even on the field. I recall someone in the gameday thread asking is he even playing, so wasn't just me. But, carry on.

He oddly very much overran the last ball too. That kind of stuff can fly in the regular season but not in the postseason.

I don't think he overran it. With Stafford I don't think anyone questions his arm strength. Ambry gave OBJ a clean release. OBJ was bookin it for a 9 route and Staffords throw ended up a 6. If he threw it a second later Ambry probably has turned to run with OBJ but do to him still being in transition of flipping his hips he saw the throw. But OBJ was even with Ambry and that's why Stafford threw it. I just think it was a bad throw not really on OBJ.

Ultimately if I am a QB I want my receiver to react to the ball in the air and make a play on it. OBJ thankfully for us did not. One on one with Thomas is the kind of stuff Stafford is gonna lob one up on. Need more out of the receiver there. Yes the ball was underthrown but still not sure why OBJ continues to run long after he should have been aware it's an underthrow. I mean Ambry had time to throttle down and make a play...

I'm not absolving OBJ of all the blame just most of it. Stafford choked hard on that pass.
