I think its more Trey is not ready. I know Trey has only started twice but he holds the ball to long. He doesn't have the quick release that Jimmy has. Against the Rams DL, you need to get the ball out quick.
Or could it be, and I know this is tin foil hat territory, Jimmy when healthy is a top 15 qb. When he is locked in can play Luke a top 10 qb.
Jimmy is smart and efficient 90% of the time. To beat the Rams the quick pass to keep the sticks moving is the game plan that works. Jimmy may be the best quarterback in the league for this game plan with his quick release.
Nah I take it back that is crazy talk, this is obviously a plot to bump trade value and make the kid who looked good last week look worse.. .
