We do, you don't

You obviously haven't been to the home games.
We are getting better. I was at thr Jacksonville game and it seemed half and half. I plan on doing either the Chargers or Raiders and definitely the Carolina and Atlanta games next season.
We should be. If you can afford living in the Bay, you can afford to fly out to games.

Living in the Bay can drain one's resources but fortunately the Niners have developed a strong fan base throughout America

not all 49ers fans have to be from the bay to be considered "traveling"

and not every city we visit has that many 49er fans.. so there is traveling involved..

So you're part of the reason the 49ers have one of the the worst home field advantages

If you think our fans show up to Levi's...

Our road fans > home fans
We've had threads on this website about how other teams have taken over Levis. There are many teams with a strong fanbase that will travel if their team is good. Weather can be a factor too. Some fans just want to get out of bad weather for a few days.

I only traveled one time to a game in NO after the Niners won the 1995 SB. The Saints were terrible at the time but their fans were great. Very friendly considering the circumstances. I was wearing my hat with the 5 SB emblems and one Saints fan said to me "It don't hardly seem fair. Ya'll got 5 and we don't even have one"

yup, full of it

Steelers are #1

But the 49ers are closing the gap quick. I remember back in 2008 when the niners took on the Giants. There was hardly and niner fans in the stands. (Cue that Nate Clements fan in the end zone as the field goal was being kicked).

The Steelers only had one losing season since 2001 so they are always in the playoffs race. And the Packers have had tremendous success ever since favre took over. If the niners had that much sustained success over the next 20 years, they would probably be #1.

Problem is that our fans don't know how to tailgate in a timely manner. My cousins stay in the parking lot until midway through the 1st quarter because they bring like seven 1.75 L bottles of hard alcohol and like 30 pounds of meat to grill. They treat it as if it's a wedding reception.

Indian time, I guess. We do have a lot of Indian fans.

This is what I'm talking about. 49er home Fans don't show up until the end of the first and midway through the 3rd.

I'm not saying there aren't real fans. I was there for the Bush Bowl with the other 5k fans in the rain

Different fan base at the stick.

when the camera pans to the crowd, they are just clapping and not even yelling lol
