SF 49ers at Packers - Pregame thread 2021 Season Divisional Round

If DL plays like it did last 2 games we have a good chance

44.3 Rodgers' passer rating when facing pressure this year. Rodgers' completion percentage drops from 74.2% to 33.3% when pressured, and his yards per attempt goes from 8.6 to 4.0.

Call me cautiously optimistic.

I see the points everyone is making and agree with most.

Media's talking all about how good Rogers is who's is for the most part validated I think we all can agree but it'sa full team sport. Doesn't hang all on one person win or lose.

Keys to a W
1. Dont fall into a hole early.
2. Use this run game.
3. Game one showed allot of chips on Bosa so that will allow us to pressure up the middle. Also we tended to over charge and get behind Rogers in the first game.
4. Make them pick their poison. If they stack up the box for the run then those quick short routes (which Jimmy is great at) where we will see the YAC brothers return. If not, then this run game will takeover and we may see like a ten pass attempt game.
5. Dont give up the DPA.

got Niners winning 31 to 28

lets go boys!!!!

I don't think I'm sleeping tonight - just too amped up. Let's go, team! Let's kick some Packer ass! This time tomorrow, we'll know if we're moving on.

Signs are trending more and more that this will be a lot closer game than people think. If we survive the 1st quarter I think we have a stronger chance than not to beat the Packers at home.

Cautiously optimistic.

If the 49ers score 27 points, they'll win. I dont see it happening though.

7th ranked offense in the league
I'll sleep well tonight.
Because I know what happens-historically- to great QBs like Mr Insurance Commercial Guy when they are set upon by a relentless pass rush.
Their game breaks down and they loose.
We shall come to know this.
Sleeping good . No pressure. Niners know who they are. Packers trying to prove they could meet Rodgers and the SB expectations.

Great play and awareness by Alexander, he left his cover 3 zone to make that play. KS should run the exact same play tomorrow using Kittle as a decoy and counter it with a delay leak route for Aiyuk to Alexander's zone that he left to make that play....ToucDooooowwwnnnn Saaaan Fraaannnssissccooooooooo!! Niners starts 7-0

There is that part deep in my soul saying "yep and jimmy will miss it."

I like jimmy, but going beyond 25 yards is not one of his assets.

I agree the pressure is on GB. We've already surpassed many outside pundits' expectations. And just like last week, we have an opportunity to create real havoc in our wake if we win.
24 more hours until the season either ends or continues.

I'm praying the 9ers just blow them out so I can go on with my day.
