The concern is not scoring in the 4th quarter and allowing teams to get back into games. It's happened a few times this year and of course in the SB. Sooner or later that catches up to you. I prefer the way they played against the Rams although I don't like falling behind by 17 points early. How about a complete game where they play all 4 quarters.

Yet we still won. Shouldn't that tell you we have a hell of a team and coaching staff?
Only the 6th road win in 49ers playoff history (heard that from Barrows).

We finish in the 4th we just make it harder than it needs to be. Generally its been coming down to Jimmy throwing some dumb pick. Luckily we've had the lead in these situations so we can pull it out, but really its coming down to Jimmy mistakes. He also missed an open Aiyuk which is prob a TD and makes a blowout likely.
The plays are there we just not hitting them. We're not consistent enough. So if we win its gonna come down to nail biters from here on out.

Jimmy has a few passes every game that Manute Bol (RIP) wouldn't get a fingernail on. I'm surprised he didn't hit the video screen like the Dallas punter. Often when the best QBs have a kill shot they relax, but I think Jimmy gets too excited and often overthrows. I think he does a lot of good things. It could be so much worse.

There was some blowouts this weekend that will make my point seem somewhat inaccurate, but its tge nfl playoffs, the opponent is often going to make a run to get back into it, esp when they are at home. Look at tge positive, we didnt go down 17 like last week

And end of the day Dallas is a damn good team, they have studs all over the place and it was a road game in the playoffs.
Got the W and onto GB!
This! Just had this exact conversation with a buddy because he sent me a Twitter shot of Skip Bayless acting sensitive over how the game ended.

the blowouts though i mean eagels and steelers were not playoff calibor teams
in NFC i dont think there is another playoff level team except for seattle this year (if RW was healthy obviously) in AFC chargers shouldve made it

The issues yesterday were all Jimmy:
Missed wide open Ayuk for a likely TD that would have sealed the game.
Interception that changed momentum, gave Cowboys a touchdown.
Snapped the ball too early on the 4th down play leading to a drive killing penalty
We can't close games because Jimmy is a liability. You saw it in the Superbowl and it will continue to happen.

if only jimmy can take the ball 90 yards on a must score a TD drive to tie the game with no timeouts and no 2 min warning then go in OT and score again. If we had a QB like that thenw e can close out games

Special teams.. nvm. They just suck.
Amen to the lack of killer instinct. Kyle has none.
