Proud of this team regardless of what happens, but I don't want this to be another one where it came down to just one play being the difference between win or loss, although I feel like it probably comes to that, unless we really get whooped.

Yeah, it's tough beating a top team twice and it's even tougher beating a great QB twice.

This 49ers team has already made me a happy fan, they beat the Rams to get into the playoffs AND they beat the Cowboys in the playoffs!!!

I would really love to beat the Packers today, and I think they can win, but IF they lose, I won't be disappointed with the way the season ended.

Go Niners!!!

No point in stopping there. The football Gods have orchestrated a perfect scenario for the ultimate Revenge Tour. Beat the Rams in their own house to get into the playoffs, which had the added benefit of knocking out the Saints. Beat the Cowboys in their own house to earn the right to face Green Bay. If they can take care of Green Bay today they may get a chance to face Brady and the Bucs for the conference title which will be a Brady/Jimmy grudge match. If they can get by the Bucs and Kansas City can handle its business they will have a chance to pay back the Chiefs for that loss, and all while doing it as a road team. Doesn't get much better than that. Go Niners!

LOVE THIS!

The ultimate revenge tour indeed! Come on NFL, you want this story, it will be one for the ages!

2005 Pittsburgh Steelers was the first team to do so, iirc.

I think we're better than a typical wild card team too. We didn't limp or fluke into the playoffs like the Eagles (although the Tennessee dud meant we had to win out to make it). But we were one of the hottest teams in the league in the 2nd half overall, and really just had that poor stretch early on.

Great to see! Go 49ers!

NeKro. If the 49ers win today, you know what you gotta do. Hope you at least wear deodorant.

Nah, deodorant ain't enough. He's gotta get that baby diaper rash cream with a s**tload of zinc in it, that at least kills bacteria.

the Super Bowl would be a home game if we can take care of business in the NFC

That's probably the best summary in my mind for this game. We just dont have much room for error. We absolutely can win this game though

grab your nuts boys! Time to lay it all out there
Randomly decided to make cioppino today—figured prepping the mussels would kill time. I only now just learned that apparently it's a very popular dish in San Francisco (I'm not from the area, so I wouldn't know). I'm convinced that this is a sign from the football gods.
