No. Jimmy G did not carry this team, didn't ball out. As far back as Singletary running this team, the defense has been the best unit. There are more than a few memorable names on defense than offense. Now, the Niners are in the NFCCG again thanks to the defense (and special teams). And the most important thing about this is that this team knows who they are. From JL on down, the DNA, if you will, is what you will see and what works. Some unfettered QB play only creates a wider margin of victory. Enjoy the ride to and through the Super Bowl. Niners All Day

Life-long Wisconsinite but also life-long 49ers fan, grew up in the 80's and early 90's when the Niners were just so good all the time that I latched onto them.
Of all the recent 4 playoff games against the Packers I must admit I was most nervous about this one. What a win for us. I don't know how I feel about the next match-up, a somewhat injured Tampa Bay or a team we've had so much success against recently?
the game was amazing, when the going gets tough, Aaron Rodgers bails out instead of balling out.
they are in big trouble with the cap next year, might be the end of an era, and I hope it is because I'm so sick of hearing about him.
Let's go Niners.
Welcome, dude!

This. But I don't hate Jimmy. He's just the reason we're gonna lose this game. Total shocker.
Imagine saying this in the 4th quarter of a one score game which we won

Packers now head into the off-season projected to be $44.8 million over the salary cap, the NFL's second most challenging off-season position behind only the New Orleans Saints.
Also in a quandary on how to deal with both Rodgers and Adams. Can't see either one staying without the other.

That's right it was Moseley. It was an out route towards the offensive left side, Moseley's area. I know Adams felt that one. Thought it might have been a LB.
About the LBs. 49ers have three guys that fly around. Packers wanted to have the 49ers in base personnel to run against it, totally fine with that.

Jimmy is clutch and we won!
Jimmy was not clutch…our D was clutch. Deebo was clutch. Our ST was clutch.
YOU, are an official "JIMMY HATER." It should be tatooed on your ID so everyone will know. You have FORGOTTEN all the clutch passes that Jimmy completed in the game. You have blinders covering your eyes that only allow you to see everything but the QB and the things the 49er QB does.
Jimmy Garoppolo was indeed clutch. I wish you could see it. But you never will.
Jimmy was clutch last night? Put down the crack pipe.
The cult like following of Jimmy is strange and slightly disturbing. I like the guy and he does make plays at times but makes alot of bonehead decisions as well. More of the latter. This team wins more often because of team than because of the QB and sometimes in spite of.
Fans following their QB and celebrating after wins is strange and disturbing?
That is lame.
Who so salty about 49er fans being happy about a win and supporting players during a legendary NFCC run?
It is called being a fan.

I believe it was Moseley who dropped an int. also. Both defenses played great. Very tough and gritty win.

If jones would have kept running straight after that long completion in the first half, he probably would have scored. Glad he paused and looked to see where the defenders were.
