But I feel like it's not the best model. I feel what we're building is what you should go for... like what the Patriots.. the Ravens... the Steelers, and all the model, stable franchises do:

Build the team in the draft. Make prudent free agent decisions, and sometimes make hard choices. It's why we're in the NFCCG for the second time in three years, and we're set-up well for the future.

I'm so sure that the Rams will come crashing down in a year or two when their stars age and their salaries balloon. It's why I think the Seahawks haven't made the Super Bowl in years---Seattle doesn't draft well, and then they mortgaged their future for Jamal Adams. They could've built an offensive line around Russell Wilson.

... and 17th time since the NFL/AFL merger, top amongst all NFL clubs.

Someone in that article commented, "Sofy is the niners vacation home..."

Maybe we can bring the Gold Rush.

You know I was just thinking.

no matter what happens Sunday -

Damn - niners in NFCCG - There was a period of the season I was for sure we weren't even going to make the playoffs.

this is glorious - KS is a magician - revamping the offense with Deebo, team getting healthy and Demeco growing into his defense.

the block scoop in score in the frozen tundra - add it to the legendary history of this team.

woot woot

The problem with the way the Rams build their team is there is so much pressure of having to win it all in that one year and it's so hard to win the SB in a cap era, No matter how talented of a team you are. There are so many good teams and even the average teams can beat you on any given week. And even with the Rams trying to stack their team through free agency and trading all their draft capital, They will still be underdogs if they face the Chiefs in the SB.

Just catching up on the thread after work but yeah, this is weak. Give a man his respect, even if he was a Ram.

I'll wager that squirrel wouldn't have called #99 Sharron Donald to his face.

Same principle.

Anyway, f**k the Rams.
Go Niners.

Its LA, there is pressure to win asap. They won't solidify their status there until they win fans and winning a SB will do that. They are trying to compete with the Lakers, Dodgers, and Kings.

Not only did we beat both Dallas and Green Bay in their own houses, but those losses left both franchises in turmoil.

I would love to do the same to the Rams after they went all in to win, but I'm pretty grateful for what we've already been given.

F the Rams, anyway

Go Niners.

I'm actually with Everett on that one. Jim Rome was such a punk ass, he had it coming. Maybe Everett did get rattled, but I'd pay good money to see Jim Rome stand in an NFL pocket for 60 minutes.

People are underestimating the Niners. Stafford got picked twice in Week 18, Prescott looked mediocre in the Wildcard, and Rodgers only put up 10 and flopped again in the Divisional because the Niners have a great defense. It's all being portrayed like our opponents are choking ... Niners are in Rams heads, Cowboys are gutless, the Rodgers model will never get it done in Green Bay. None of these reactions are considering the possibility that the Niners are making people look mortal because they have a terrific defense. They are still being disrespected because they started crappy and came in as a 6 seed. I think it's advantageous to use it to motivate our team, but the idea that our opponents are all choking is off. Great defenses can make great offenses look ordinary, period.
