SF 49ers at LA Rams Pregame Thread - 2021 Season NFC Championship Game

All we keep hearing:

We can't beat Dallas because they're too good
We can't beat Green Bay because they're too good
Now it's we can't beat the Rams and possibly Chiefs because they're too good

We are the team no one wants to face for a reason, not the other way around. Go ask those previous division winners we just went through.

Honestly, crap like that should be illegal.

But honestly…who's gonna buy tickets to see the Rams?

If we don't start slow this is going to be an easy game. We've already proven we can beat them from behind.

I understand it since it now seems that whoever wins the NFC CG is just being allowed the privilege to lose to the Chiefs. KC being the new Brady + Seahawks combo to rule the NFL for the next 20 years just seems inevitable in some ways. But games are decided on the field, so we'll see.

Is it that f**king hard to play ball control and play defense? The clock management by both qbs was f**king atrocious. I wanted to puke.

I think we dominate - win by two scores. 31-17, Niners.

I like our chances against the Rams but it appears KC is going to be hard for anyone to handle. You could see the pass plays going to Kelcey before the ball was even snapped and they still couldn't stop it. Also mobile QBs have given us problems for the last decade or more.

how did the Bucs defeat the unbeatable last season?

Defensive line overpowered their O line.

hmmmm....

Sounds like they revamped it on the offseason because it was the reason they lost, but I still like our D line's chances against them if we played, with how well they been performing lately..

I think the defense has actually improved in this area since Trey became the scout team QB.

We handled them for the first three quarters of the Super Bowl. I think we have a chance.

Absolutely! If we're down 17-0 or so in the 3rd qtr, I will certainly not have my feet up thinking "no problem, we've got this!" We cannot hang our hats on the winning streak. The laws of averages actually favors them. Hopefully no Bad Jimmy and focused, grinding Niner football. Deebo is increasingly becoming the unique 'wide back' of the league!
