Why do people keep mentioning how they shut down our run game? Of course they did but we shut theirs down as well and they got less yards per carry than we did. Did people miss that? Also we had more passing yards per play as well as more yards per play in general.
Good for the Rams to finally beat an injured team like they beat Arizona and a severely injured TB team Not much to brag about especially after getting Von Miller and OBJ.
Haha, well put.
In the end, I f**king hate to repeat what everyone else says, but it's a QB driven league.
Jimmy wins a lot, but not championship/super bowl a lot.
Need so many breaks to go our way to win games. Some of these other teams get by with far less precision.
And like Guapo says, we didn't even have our full force. But keep in mind, it's very very difficult both with injuries and FA to keep super stacked rosters for long.
The Bengals may win the Super Bowl and their fully actualized roster is nothing compared to what ours could've been (see bolded above). Rams for that matter too.
It sucks. It's really all on Lance to be that guy.
The idea with Lance is if there's a standstill in the 4th quarter, we expect him to make improvised plays either on the ground or air that Jimmy doesn't often make. I think that truly will be the difference going forward.
That's the hope. No need to have him in the top 5 convo right now with Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Burrow, Rodgers, but if that was plausible, it would be epic payback to the NFL for the suffering we've had!!!!!!!
