If you don't have a franchise quarterback it's basically every three years before it needs a rebuild. Guys get paid and leave if they are good. We will lose key players on the defensive line even if we don't want to and our pass rush will suffer. This will lead to everything else suffering unless you have a quarterback who can put up points to make up for it.

That's the only other player yhat can start over Trey without causing controversy. because he's the GOAT, it's his childhood team, and it's our best chance to get one ASAP.

We passed on Brady and Manning. If the GOAT calls we will tell him sorry dude you're like 40 and we're betting on the future. We did it twice before and we're doing it here.

And I know Tom and Peyton won it all but all they offer is a 1-2 year window.
