The reason we lost nobody wants to talk about

Here it is guys.

We are a power rushing team. We run over people and control the time of possession. We are a much more powerful team when we run well. The power running sets up the throws for the 49ers.

Rushing

Samuel 7 - 26 - 3.7 average. 0 TD'S.

Mitchell 11 - 20 - 1.8 average. 0 TD'S.

Jimmy G 1 - 4 - 4 average. 0 TD'S.

Juszczyk 1 - 0 - 0 average. 0 TD'S.

Grand total 20 - 50 - 2.5 average. 0 TD'S.

I guarantee you it's not what we did in our 6 - 0 run vs them.

No way in hell the 49ers were going to win a game like that. That's what we did rushing. All game long. The way we are built it was our best chance.

We have our way with other teams in the run game. That's how we do it.

The Rams made the adjustments. They stacked the line and punched us in the mouth in the running game. In the 6 - 0 previous we didn't fail this bad against them running.

If you told me these would be our final rushing totals at the beginning of the game I wouldn't even believe you. It's how we lost.

Lack of running game has been talked about

Um, WHY do you think they felt comfortable selling out on the run?

Sure I agree. It's the main reason we lost. By far the reason. No way the 49ers win a game like this.

You mean the rams actually executed a game plan that said we will not allow you to run and will force Jimmy G to beat us?

the right side of our line was weak sauce. They were all over it.

Maybe if we can a QB who was more accurate down the field, they would sell out to stop the run.

Maybe if we had a more accurate QB, we'd be more then a power rushing team.

They couldn't execute that game plan for a 6 - 0 run against us. But they did tonight. So what changed so dramatically?

What happened to the jet sweep from 2019? I understand it wont work as well frequently, but once in a while it would surely help

They won the trenches. They actually tired out our defense.

Actually A'Shawn Robinson was eating up the left side too and couldn't do s**t there.

This game was jimmy game. He played well but some throws were pretty head scratching. He did enough to keep the game close but unfortunately he didn't win.

one thing I did notice is that this team like to play from behind. When they're losing , they play good but when they're winning, they like to take the foot off the gas pedal . Be like the hills, don't stop scoring until the game is over .

I absolutely agree I would have liked to see more jet sweeps and reverses which were effective in the past against all our opponents but we didn't do much of that tonight.

Jimmy from previous seasons > Jimmy of this season. Especially the one in this playoff.

They had no respect for him.
