And even on the off chance they did, we have nothing to offer them.

Unless it's a player like Deebo or Bosa (certifiable game changers), they're going to want draft picks, especially the first round kind.

Guess what we don't have.

there's a reason Kyle's dad never won another ring as an OC/HC once he was lumbered with mediocre QB's…you can have an all-pro RB (Ricky Watters, Terrell Davis) and a pro bowl OL running your ZBS, but if teams sell out to stop your running game you turn one-dimensional

Mike Shanahan with Steve Young/John Elway: 3 rings

Mike Shanahan with whatever Raiders QB he had back in the day/Brian Griese/RGIII/Cousins: 0 rings

You need a gunslinger QB to take this offense to the next level

Elway was not a gun slinger any more when he won his 2 rings. Those wins were all on the back of a HOF RB.

We're talking about staying OUT of 2nd and long. Kyle went full HaRoman on first downs.

League is different as well....you need a bonafide FQB to win it all and constantly be in the discussion to win every yr.

I think the Bengals and LAR are perfect examples of this. Get the QB position correct and you can make s**t happen in today's NFL.

20 of Jimmy's 30 passing attempts came on 1st and 2nd down. On 24 1st down attempts they passed it 11 times. So passing it 45% on first downs is bad?
Rams came in with a great game plan and thats it.

Kyle tried to go pass first which is what i thought we needed to do anyways, but it didn't work.

Don't be mad that we lost, we got outplayed even if we were up 10 at some point.

Be happy we got this far.
8 Yards of offense in the 4th quarter

THE ONLY REASON WHY WE LOST.

JIMMY WENT FULL RETARD MODE WHEN IT MATTERED MOST!

Correct, we don't have those picks because we drafted our next hopeful franchise quarterback on a rookie contract to afford guys like Bosa and Deebo. Start Trey next year, re-sign our homegrown talent, and let the chips fall where they may. If Trey is better than Jimmy and a top 10 QB, we're set at competing in the playoffs for the foreseeable future. If Trey flounders, then we're looking at a complete rebuild in the next 3 years with a GM/coach search and won't compete in the next 5 years. I sure as hell hope for the former.

The Rams haven't had a 1st round pick in years. I think they showed a graphic yesterday that said they don't have anther one until 2024 which they might trade before then. You can build a team with free agents and trades if you are willing to sacrifice the draft picks. The draft is a cheaper way to build but free agents and trades give you players that have already proved they can play in the NFL.

Ya definitely to many up the middle runs on first down.

Kyle didn't call a great game
OL didn't play well
Jimmy didn't play well
Run game wasn't good

The whole offense just didn't play good.

Go after Rogers, get Wilson, do something drastic because without a huge change there we lose again next year.

First neither team is trading with us, 2nd they did do something drastic like giving up a bunch of picks for a young QB with high end potential. Ya'll just need to understand that and jump on board.

Agree and with both Wilson and Rodgers taking up so much of each teams cap, there's a reason why they're out of money to pay for other star players. Start QBs with big salaries just don't go with an experienced team unless they take salary cuts (Tom Brady)

I'll add that the D didn't play well in the 4th quarter. Receivers were wide open and there wasn't enough pressure on Stafford.
They wanted it more.

If you want to believe that. We were up 10 at that point and our D couldn't get off the field all game long. Oline got owned and the Defense gave up 11 3rd down conversions. We forgot how to cover a screen pass yesterday and Kupp got two wide open TD's.

This is the bottom line. It all hinges on Trey
