And I guess the talent he had at those times. Maybe with our core he is back to Guru status.

Daaaaaym bro.
it's good to have that fresh voice in your ear.
He'll be like the get-back guy. Every time Kyle calls a run, Lynn will veto to a pass and vice versa.

He wasn't the playcaller in San Diego, that was Ken Whisenhunt. They also had a crap OL during those years. I know that his work as a RB's coach with the Jets was good enough to land him some HC interviews and his work in Buffalo got him a HC job. His only focus with the 49ers is going to be the offensive side of the ball and likely pretty much mostly the run game.

We may have someone behind center who can execute the plays in the 4Q now as well

Sweet. That means we're a lock for the Superbowl!
Esp. if Rodgers and Wilson take off.

These are the rankings of the Chargers on the ground with Lynn.
2017--99.7 (#24)
2018--110.1 (#18)
2019--90.8 (#28)
2020--111.5 (#18)
Now yards per run.
2017--3.8 (#26)
2018--4.5 (#12)
2019--4 (#23)
2020--3.8 (#30)
Unimpressive for a running game guru
Look at 2016 when he was just a playcaller for Buffalo and not a head coach. 1st in rushing yards, 1st in yards per carry, 1st in rushing TD's. This year in Detroit was the only other time he's called plays.

But the OL isn't the reason we lost. If our OL was soooo bad. We wouldn't of made it to the NFCC

This is to avoid OC turnover along with allowing Kyle to have someone to bounce in game decisions off of.
Kyle's OCs don't do s**t and this way, nobody is going to give Lynn anymore chances for a head coach.

It's funny all these people bringing up how Kyle sucks and can't hold a lead. The guy has brought us to 2 nfc championships in 3 years and no one saw it coming this year. He's my favorite coach since I became a football fan. I was to young to see Walsh.

I would be okay just be the Run Game Specialist but he doesn't have the credentials to be Asst. HC and/or OC.
He doesn't have the credentials to be assistant head coach. You need to Google his name

Then explain how my take is wrong since the stats and tape are there. In 2019 season, he blew lead/chance to win the game at Week 2@DET, Week 7@TEN, Week 10 @OAK, Week 13 @DEN then 2020 season do the same at Week 2 vs KC in OT, Week 4 @TB, Week 5 @NO in OT, Week 8 @DEN.
Bro he has held multiple coaching positions including head coach. He definitely has experience enough to be an assistant head coach and he is an upgrade over Mike McDaniels
