We may have someone behind center who can execute the plays in the 4Q now as well
Sweet. That means we're a lock for the Superbowl!
Esp. if Rodgers and Wilson take off.
Nah our OL is still garbage and has been for years! I been trying to tell everyone but these f**kers that hate the team blame other players as well
Haha. I hear that!

Hope Lynn is here for couple of years and gets his 2nd shot at HC after that. He deserves it.
Better? Based on what exactly. The lack of respect for Shanahan on this board is puzzling.
Think he meant better then Mike McDaniel

Post was about McDaniel and how I will be upset if he is hired away from the team but Lynn's hiring makes me feel better. Can't believe Kyle may have brought in someone who may be better than...wait for it...McDaniel.

Pep would be interesting as OC. I wasn't a huge fan of him when he was OC in Indy but if he's not calling the plays and just helping design gameplans and working with the QB's, assisting Kyle, Lynn and Scangarello, he'd be a very valuable addition.
My question about Hamilton is, was he a product of the players he had to coach, or did he make a big contribution to those players?
Like you, I didn't see much to admire with him in Indy. I'm not sold out on Scangarello either. The main line on his resume is he taught Nick Mullins how to fasten his chin strap. So, Pep might add something to the package but do we need two QB coaches?
Where did this Pep Hamilton rumor come from?

What I'm more interested in, is will we sign Tyrod Taylor as backup QB?

There's a lot of content out there connecting the dots like we have in here that this move was made in preparation for losing Mike.

Not really a rumor at the moment. Just some wishful thinking for now. Pep has a good track record working with young qb's. He was on Lynn's staff with the chargers so there is a possible connection there.

Scarrangelo will due as QB coach. Here's the deal folks, Trey has all the physical traits, he's very smart and able to absorb the offense, BUT, he played at what's equivalent to a JUCO football team for only one year. He's raw, a project, just turned 21 yrs old. He doesn't know anything. DC out there licking their lips, they can't wait to go after this guy. There needs to be a system to protect him and bring him along slowly, or he's gonna get destroyed. I like the Anthony Lynn hiring. Now he needs a good back up to bring him along. Tyrod Taylor would be perfect. He helped with Josh Allen, he would be a big plus with Trey. We are in essence starting over. We're under everybody in the NFC West right now. Are we patient with that? Because this is gonna take some time. I wish Watson wasn't in legal trouble.

The Tyrod Taylor thread has been resurrected in the FA/Trades Forum, FWIW.

I am more interested in FA - Mike Williams (WR).
Deebo - Aiyuk - Mike Williams with Kittle and Mitchell with Lance at QB
Can't stop that.

That would be nice. Sportrac estimates his market value at $16.7MAAV. Can't do that.
