Awesome. Seemed like an upgrade. Good coach.

Hate it. We let go Embree because they offer Lynn the Asst HC job? Not deminish his knowledge on the run game which is really good but give him the task to advice Shanahan to do or not to do when the game is on the line is quite stupid specially his last 2 jobs as he blew many 4th quarter leads.
I would be okay just be the Run Game Specialist but he doesn't have the credentials to be Asst. HC and/or OC.
Then explain how my take is wrong since the stats and tape are there. In 2019 season, he blew lead/chance to win the game at Week 2@DET, Week 7@TEN, Week 10 @OAK, Week 13 @DEN then 2020 season do the same at Week 2 vs KC in OT, Week 4 @TB, Week 5 @NO in OT, Week 8 @DEN.

Seeing nothing but positive reviews on twitter about this move. Hopefully any designed run play with lance will be improved, because they didn't appear overly effective at it this year.

In play, not done. Lynn hire is about Trey Lance not Mike McDaniel.

Either way I'm good with it. Lynn is an experienced coach with HC experience. That's just one more guy whose input could be very beneficial.
If they can snag Pep too that would be amazing

FWIW he wasn't fired, his contract was up
He wasn't, but certain media members were saying thats how you fire a minority coach without having to fire them.

Aside from thinking Tyrod Taylor was better than Justin Herbert, he seems like a good coach.

This seems like a very good hire, especially the more I read about it.

I do think this increases the odds that Tyrod Taylor comes in as the 49ers backup QB for next season.

This is beautiful for both sides. Lynn getting a bit extra schooling in before his next HC stint. We get a great, proven coach. Love this move.

Is this in anticipation of McDaniel being hired? This is great. This guy will be a HC again in this league.

Here's Kyle Shanahan speaking on Anthony Lynn from a few years ago.

Their relationship goes back 20 years when Shanahan was a ball boy for Denver, where Lynn was a running back. pic.twitter.com/z6K5WUv5ac
