Why be bitter? According to some, it's better to not make the SB, than go to a SB and lose. And since losing was a real possibility, not being there eliminates that possibility.
Now we can sit back and watch another team lose one without any worry.

Its better to be 5-2 than a possible 5-3.

As a matter of fact, we should never go to another SB again that way we don't ever have to worry about the losing another one ever again.

Lol. I stopped watching the NFL Network in 2012 & ESPN long before that. I find sports talk stupid & annoying if all you are doing is second guessing. You couldn't do any better so STFU. I do however listen to KNBR during my 3 hour commute but haven't listened since before the game. As far as the Super Bowl I may flip it on late if the Bengals are winning otherwise I'm already thinking about FA. I find it much easier to watch the SB if the 49ers don't make the playoffs. I thought we wanted that game more. The way they fought for every yard. Ugh. So close again. Who thought getting our 6th would be this difficult???

Yah I'm bitter but nothing like I was when we lost to the Giants and Seahawks where I didn't watch a sec. I will watch just to go out to a packed setting and check out the women

It's the SB. Of course watching. And only a casual BB fan and a baseball fan later in the season it will be total dead time. How can you not watch as a fan? There will be no more football for months.

I have a soft spot for Staff, I believe he playing in this SB represents all the TOP QBs from the Super Bowl era that never got a chance to play in the SB because they were stuck w/their original teams before getting all used up..

It's nice to watch next gen QB in SB and dream of future Trey..

Rams losing to the Bengals would make me feel abit better about the Niners loss. So that's why I will be watching. If Rams lose, Their season would still be worse than our's despite them beating us in the NFC championship because the Rams went all-in on winning the SB this year. Not just making it to the SB. This might be the last time the Rams make the SB in a very long time.

Rams losing would be almost as good as a Super Bowl victory

Ehh,to one of the two teams in the Bowl which we already beat! No big deal and we are relevant as a mother!
