I'm guessing most of you will watch at least passively to keep track of who's winning. I say this because you are football fans. Every week we have a game day thread so people can comment on other games that have far less importance. I don't care which team wins but I'll watch. I just won't be absorbed into the gamel ike I am when the Niners are playing.

Work has been slow if I'm off Monday ill have a party and root for the Bengals as if I'm a fan and will be upset if they lose. If i have to work I'll probably have it on in the background.

Wow, a lot of butt hurt here.
Zoners are 49ers fans, but also football fans, so to not watch the Super Bowl because SF isn't in it is absurd.
It's the last NFL game until August, suck it up, grow a set, and enjoy football.

Didn't blow anything we were in the final four of the NFL and we spanked both these clubs in their houses. Whoever wins yeah we beat those guys.

No denied. It's the freakin Super Bowl. I mean two #1 overall pick QBs, Chase v Ramsey, Aaron Donroid, the triple crown winning receiver Cooper Kupp, Bengals in the big game. Listen to baseball on the radio it's pitcher v hitter and you can sum that up verbally quite well. NFL football on the radio it's 11 v 11 no way to communicate all that action in like 5 seconds. Football on the radio sucks.

I wouldn't say bitter but I am not as interested to watch the World Series/Super Bowl/NBA Championship when the Giants/49ers/Warriors are not in it.

Imagine missing Mahomes superhero performance last year in a horrible loss. If you didn't watch the game you'd think Mahomes didn't play well when in reality that dude put on one of the most awe inspiring performances.

Why? Everyone has their own priorities in life. If there team isn't in it, then watch the 10 minute highlight YouTube after the game and spend the 4-6 hours in a more meaningful way. Plus, you don't have to listen to Collinsworth prattle on for hours.

not that bitter, like most people said getting to the playoffs was a victory in itself.. everything else was gravy and the NFCCG exposed our biggest weakness
