not that bitter, like most people said getting to the playoffs was a victory in itself.. everything else was gravy and the NFCCG exposed our biggest weakness

What's our biggest weakness? Run blocking? 20 for 50 is that what you are referring to?

Pass blocking and secondary would be my guesses
Haven't watched one sports show since the NFC title game. Such a wonderful opportunity pissed away

Soft
Not bitter at all. Season ended on good vibes given how it started. This felt like one of those seasons a team and franchise can build on as we get stronger moving forward.

The Lambs went all in on this season, selling out their future for the now, and they barely got past us. Yeah no moral victories in sports, but the long game is a very real thing and I think we are better positioned long term.

Wow, a lot of butt hurt here.

Zoners are 49ers fans, but also football fans, so to not watch the Super Bowl because SF isn't in it is absurd.

It's the last NFL game until August, suck it up, grow a set, and enjoy football.

Jesus.

This belongs in the WZ post HOF first ballot

Why? Everyone has their own priorities in life. If there team isn't in it, then watch the 10 minute highlight YouTube after the game and spend the 4-6 hours in a more meaningful way. Plus, you don't have to listen to Collinsworth prattle on for hours.

If you have better things to do is different than not watching cause your Bitter. I think your both right. If you have something better to do go do it. If your not watching just because your "bitter" your actually just soft.
Will be watching and rooting for my SB Squares

We said the same thing about the Rams when they went to their 1st SB with McVay. They just know how to make impactful trades and their front office has been top notch.

How sustainable is that formula tho? Once Stafford declines are they going to trade for another top 10 QB? Eventually they will need to draft and groom a QB.

I think they played a risky game with all the draft capital they traded away but it has worked out for them perfectly. They will be relevant again next year as long as they have Donald, Stafford, Kupp, Ramsey and a few others. After about 2 years they'll have all their draft capital back also and they can start the cycle again if they want.

They went all in and it's working out in the present and short term future. I think had one or two of these trades/signings been huge busts they'd be in a terrible spot but the moves have for the most part worked.
