Jimmy and Kap had the same issue. The game never slowed down for them.
In order for the game to slow down a QB must see what happened, what is happening and what is supposed to happen on every play.
The only way to slow it down is to know all the variables possible. Its film and a understanding of that film that slows the game down.
Kap and Jimmy got C- grades for studying.
Because we were spoiled with back to back HOF qb's i Montana and Young. We have struggled since, too many quarterbacks to name. I just know we spent hours debating Cody Pickett, or Jim Druckemiller, Ty Detmer, Jessie the Bachelor Palmer, Blaine Gabbert, Eric Stenstrom, Gio Carmazzi, Nick Mullens, Cj BeathardJT O Sullivan, JT o sullivan.

Franchise QB's are hard hard to find. Lets hope Trey Lance is the real deal.
Kap is a classic case of a new pitcher being unhittable the first time through the line up… then being lit up for 7 hits, 2 walks 4 runs in the 4th inning.

The guy was among the worst in the league as a passer once coordinators keyed in on his weaknesses. He didn't help his cause by not working on his flaws… there was no development.
He was being called a "remedial passer" by 2014.

Dude Kap took the 49ers out of the shiz and so did Jim. His flaws were disobeying the NFL policies

After his long release got exposed by the Cardinals in the 4 INT game, his confidence was shot and he became non-functional. Then, he worked his way back from that, but in 2014 he had became extra cautious and conservative. The result was the 16 TD to 4 INT ratio and the horrible win/loss record. I think in another year he might have taken another step forward, but we all know what happened after that.

I can't believe OP would disparage the Hall of Fame career of our Lord and Saviour Kaepernick. Praise be to him *kneels and raises Black power fist*

I've heard nothing on Jimmy's studying habits, and the source for Kap's studying habits, IIRC, is Romonowski, not exactly a beacon of objectivity and accuracy.
I really enjoyed when 49ers fans on the internet pissed their pampers that he was out banging some porn star.

For such an openly and vociferously liberal bunch, internet 49ers fans sure did forget that "sex work is real work" or whatever bs they spew otherwise. That, or the more likely scenario, they were furious he was into women.

Never mind the fact that you seem to not understand how rules work, the reason why people were a bit concerned is because quarterback is an excessively demanding position, and you want your guy to be on the way to being married and settled down.

The concerns, of course, were validated. He never improved in any appreciable way.

You should post more.
