I'll bet my first born that Kyle schemes him into some "TE eligible" touchdown passes with 6 o line men on the field. Dude is too big, too fast, and has hands. It'll be awesome. I also expect him to sub into red zone plays to play fullback or even take it into the house
I agree. IF he's not starting I could see a lot of potential gimmicks in goal line or short yardage. As a TE or FB
I saw the number he is wearing and got chills (sort of)‼️‼️‼️ #62 same as Guy McIntyre‼️‼️‼️
Guy was my favorite OLineman on goal line situations! I know the linebackers widened their eyes when Guy McIntyre came on the field on 3rd or 4th down.
I don't see this guy starting initially. One of the guards would have to suck. His rookie year he is going to be used in special packages & maybe special teams. I could see his whole rookie he develops and learns center - then next year our o line will be insane with
Williams-banks-poe-burford-mcG. that's a really good lineup if the thing guys develops and Williams gives us 3 more seasons
If Walsh can start 3 rookie DBs and win a super bowl, why not Kyle with three rookie OLinemen.
Having said that, I do agree, unlikely Poe will be a starter if he makes the 53. I also agree, Poe would be an excellent center and next year he could be outstanding if he continues to improve. I still want NCs talant stacking OLine draft though, even if Poe is all pro by the end of this season. Trent isn't getting any younger and McGlinchey (I fear) has his football career cut short by that horrible knee injury last year. Hope he can heal up, but his knee is looking more and more like Dee Fords knee.
