Short + level of competition? I hope he's awesome!
Coming in on short yardage situations as FB would be a good way to get this guy some playing time. He is going to be center for a good moment. Very athletic which is KS ideal lineman
After seeing his workout vid, i already have a new favorite. Blocks like a Center, has good hands for catching the ball…and runs like a deer…that weighs 305. You don't think Kyle already has thot of about half dozen special plays to use Mr Poe?

One would think a guy this size, with excellent hands, and great speed, could end up being a terrific Center. He has all the makings…

pass pro is the big question mark.

Hoping either he or West end up being that long term Center.
^^^likewise
Kyle's new guard-back..... Tight-center....maybe full-guard? Oh I know, tight-center-full-guard-back. Lynch is going to have fun with his next contract.

I might be alone in this but I actually liked what I saw from Brendel last season. I know it wasn't much but I do believe it's his job to lose if Mack does retire. That said, I agree with both of you and hope that either Poe or West wins it and the loser still makes the squad as the backup. Poe is so much fun to watch

I've heard that Zakelj could also develop into a long term center

I really like what I see here. Dude hauls ass out of his stance. I see people keep bringing up being 6'1" as if it's a bad thing for an interior OL. I like my interior OL/DL around here. Hand speed > Arm length and being short just means better leverage. I really like this pickup.

haha well to a certain degree.
Bigger version Christian Okoye

My guess is that no team drafted him

Love it…"tight center/ full guard…tight center-full-guard-back. "
