2022 is not the year for the 49ers to go all-in on winning the super bowl

I've way against going "All-In" like the Rams did, but you always want to win the SB every year, and like others have said, we have the players, Mitchell, Juice, Deebo, Aiyuk, Jennings, Kittle, Trent, Mack, Bosa, Armstead, Ebukam, Kinlaw, Givens, Warner, Al-Shaair, Dre, Ambry, Moseley, Lenoir, Ward, Hufanga, Gould, if Trey shows something, we're gonna be a very good team.

As for signing big name FAs, I agree, I don't like overpaying, but if they end up losing D.J. Jones and/or Laken Tomlinson, or K'Waun, Tartt, Key, Willis, they HAVE to sign some FAs, younger guys, like James Daniels or Alex Cappa at RG, move Banks too LG, go after a CB like a Levi Wallace or Charvarius Ward, or Bryce Callahan to replace K'Waun. Dante Fowler to replace Key, etc....

I know this will make NC very very happy.

I agree we want to sign many of our existing players, and grab some mid tier free agents. We should avoid 100 million corner backs.

If you've followed me you know I'd never give a CB more than $10M a yr, no way I'm giving any CB $20M a yr, even Ramsey gets burned, I forget who said it, but there aren't real lockdown CBs, they all get beat, the Kupp's, Deebo's, AJ Brown's, DK's, Tyreek Hill's, etc... Speedy guys or guys that can beat your #1 CB, hell Aiyuk has done it, Jimmy just never saw him or looked his way.

So you're saying with Garoppolo's salary off the books, there's no room to sign outside FAs?

The 49ers MO is to sign/reward their own free agents first. We shouldn't expect any big splashes, but as I understand it... after that, we could probably sign low/mid-tier one-year, two-year deals for a couple players.

It's gonna depend on who stays vs who leaves, if we lose Laken & DJ, then we can go after someone like Daniels or Cappa, who will get likely $8M-$10M a yr, if we want a CB, which rumors say they do, $8M-$10M a yr for a Ward or Wallace, then get a returner like Ray-Ray McCloud, and a Bilal Nichols to replace DJ, besides I already showed how we can keep our core FAs(Laken, DJ, Key, Willis, K'Waun, & Tartt), extend Deebo, Bosa, & Aiyuk long term, while having Trent, Juice, Kittle, Warner, Armstead, & Ward on deals like they have now, and it can work long term, heck I showed how we can also add a Cordarrelle Patterson at $6M a yr, and Levi Wallace at $8M a yr, just need to be creative, and also smart.
I hope so, lets get Wagner and Jackson and we good to go for that
Might as well replace 2022 with every year from 1995 onward

With Trey they need to make sure the line can give him time until he gets comfortable with the speed of the NFL. Don't want a repeat of the Cardinals game plan or whatever you want to call that. Invest in the offensive line. Defense doesn't have the same shelf life as offense.

As long as Trey doesn't suck, they should be one of the favorites to win it this season.

As long as they draft well, every year is a super bowl year.

Agree, and ShanaLynch don't need a lot of high priced free agents if they keep hitting day three gems like Kittle, Warner, and Mitchell (for example). You can get by with one or two splash signing a year. Trent Williams and Alex Mack (for example) and heavily front load those contracts. This year (hopefully) our *splash free agency signings* will be Bosa and Deebo.
Our window is open and you could make the argument that 2022 is the year to go all in if you wanted to take a page out of the Rams playbook. Our QB is on a rookie year, we technically dont have to pay Deebo or Bosa until next year and the team is built to make a deep playoff run.

The more i think about it, this would be the year. Of course it all depends how Lance plays but i think we will be alight.

Lets sign errbody!!!
Yes it is.
Fowles equals all in baby
If they get Chandler Jones, then maybe I can see them going all in. But these guys are gonna be shopping at the bargain bin like always. I don't see any splash moves being made

Yup which is why all that JG cap space isn't really a big deal anyway kinda overhyped
Jed York needs to:

• stage an owners' coup against Goodell, replace with someone whom he has by the balls (a-la Eddie DeBartolo did on Tagliabue)

• butter up the refs 💰💰💰💰💰

• distance the team from the retarded democrats who run SF/CA (and any politics/woke s**t)

• pray for an earthquake to hit the Bay, play the national sympathy card, milk that s**t for 5+ years like Katrina

…then the Niners will finally win #6

It's not overhyped, they need that money gone to be able to re-sign any of their FAs, and sign their picks, and they need him off the books do be able to extend Bosa, Deebo, Aiyuk, etc.... long term, whole reason for having a QB on a rookie deal.
