After looking at the comp pick page on OTC, looks like they should get 2 3rds, a 5th, 6th, & 7th rd comp picks in 2023.

We should have the following.

Own 2nd
Own 3rd
Comp 3rd (Saleh/Mayhew)
Comp 3rd (McDaniel)
Own 4th
Own 5th
Comp 5th (DJ Jones)
Comp 6th (Arden Key)
Own 7th
DEN 7th
Comp 7th (K'Waun Williams)

So 11 picks, not bad.

Not bad at all. 3 3rds gives us ammo to trade up into the 1st or 2nd if we want

Just using the data posted by AB81 above and the draft value chart from the draft boards. Assuming we draft 32nd position -- using our 2nd and all of our 3rd rounders, you get 618 points, which gives you a range from First round Pick No. 30 to First round pick No. 32. You can probably get a good player on either offensive line or defensive line at that range. On top of that, you would still have 7 draft picks remaining.

I wonder if we could trade one of the 12-13 DL we have before cutting them.

One possible reason they can't is Kerry Hyder. He flopped in Seadderall. Teams have to look at that when looking at the 49er DLine players in their own schemes. Most teams don't have a Kocurek- thank god.

Ineed. After that fail, if I'm a GM, its buyer beware. Gonna need Arden Key to ball if we want comp picks (higher ones) or to trade our Dline for anything significant.
Maiocco & JLC's position groups from weakest to strongest:

Offensive line
Safety
TE
QB

Totally agree with that at the beginning of the season, however I think QB and OLine will move up there with WR and CB - towards the end of the season.
O line should be bolded

Great article AB81!
Now, if the 49ers don't reach a contract extension with Deebo Samuel, then they will most definitely franchise tag him, which, according to OverTheCap.com, will cost $19.985 million, and if the team can't reach a new deal in 2023, then in 2024 they can tag him again, which would be for a 120% of his 2023 franchise tag number, something that the 49ers really don't want to do, but will if it means keeping their most dynamic playmaker on the team.
A lot of the smoke from the contract negotiations ,I think, is from Deebo's agent, not Deebo himself. I think the 49ers will be able to get a contract deal for him. Great point about the Franchise Tag, as that will be the floor of his contract, I suspect. So the floor will be 20 million in year one and then 20% plus (which I calculate to about 4 million more in year 2). So 20, 24, 29, 35, and 42 million over a 5 year period (I rounded up) - which comes to a total of 150 million for a 5 year period. Again, this is the *floor* that I calculated assuming they franchise tag him for the next 5 years and the franchise tag increases at 120% straight for the entire 5 year period. (my 120% increase math example: 20 X 1.2 = 24 = 20 + 4)

I don't know how much more over the franchise tag floor Deebo could get, but I'm assuming anything above my calculated floor could be done through a combination of - Likely To be earned bonuses and unlikely to be earned bonuses. I'm thinking they will frontload both Deebo's and Bosa's contract like crazy once Jimmy is traded/let go.

Correct. That's just as they see/know it today. It'll be fun to revisit at the mid season point to see how the list has shifted, if at all.
PFF has our roster as #13?

Nah, I'd say 7ish. Playoff caliber but not quite there to be a serious Superbowl (winning) contender.
