This angle of Mooney Ward's first career pick six goes crazy! pic.twitter.com/cbsjmmagah

My biggest takeaway from this angle is how 49er fans own away games. That is such a big advantage. 49ers fans are truly the 12th man.

I think it was a lot more than that. I was right behind the Cardinals bench and there were 49ers fans all around me. When the Cardinals had the ball you had really loud "Defense" chants throughout the stadium.

Not gonna lie, Ward was one of my targets in 2022 offseason, I think on his new deal he could net in the $16.5M-$18M a year range, JC Jackson is at $16.5M a year, and he's been better than Jackson.

Understatement. Jackson has been a disaster.

I was disappointed the 49ers didn't get JC Jackson or Stephon Gilmore. I knew Ward was decent after seeing him in the Super Bowl vs the 9ers, but I didn't think he was worth $60 million at the time. But I was pretty happy the 9ers came away in free agency with a CB.
